WHY somebody do this?

xxx6live 01-08-2019 01:56 PM

Or could it be stolen cards where they get the money from the chat, and you, using the card, gets the police knocking on your door?

That's not sustainable, because of chargebacks.

Prepaid cards are more likely and would add to the longevity of this approach.

Bladewire 01-08-2019 02:01 PM

↑↑↑ Truth

EddyTheDog 01-08-2019 02:03 PM

I'm not sure I get this either - If they are prepaid cards then why not use the cards numbers yourself?..

EDIT: I'm assuming the scam is they get paid PPS for a trial?....

xxx6live 01-08-2019 02:04 PM

Ok, but who earns money and how? I am slow today...

edit, ok maybe PPS...

Geographical distribution, email address distribution, all from ISPs and not server networks.

Diomed 01-08-2019 03:29 PM

Prepaid cards my ass..

These scammers have access to endless cards online, or could even be harvesting them.

Most likely have a sponsor with burnable/rotating mids, who's looking the other way. (Even low $15/20 PPS payouts here will equate to more cash than a $60 PPS at a high scrub rate).

Don't see how even with an innocent sponsor how PPS wouldn't catch up almost immediately. Even with the quickest turn aound in pay periods. Flags would fly.

What's I've always found weird is to see these operations go to such trouble with bot networks and flub the pitch with zero effort/continuity of pitch.

"Chat sales" have gained a lot of ground in the days of social media, especially when media buyers/traffic networks are pricing out the small guys.

I doubt a sponsor is on board with this. I bet they are rotating through as many sponsors as possible and using networks as well.
They likely mix in regular sales to ensure some payment rounds.

Phoenix 01-08-2019 04:06 PM

I do think they are working with a virtual card provider though

PornDiscounts-V 01-08-2019 05:39 PM

Hmm..

So load with the trial payment. Ask someone to signup and give you their ID# so you can see that the trail was used. If they try to buy a bike for their kid the card doesn't have any money left. $70 PPS... They needed the extreme beauty of reality... which is a real IP from a real location and address and name and it all doesn't look like fraud.

Could work on a small scale. Can't see it scaling very big. And after awhile they will convert you to revshare because none of your people stick around. So would never be a $100K idea...

Mixing paid/organic traffic with bot/chat sales is definitely common practice, but even through rotating sponsors and masking through resellers this method is so agregious that I have a hard time believing they wouldn't burn through them pretty quick.

Charge backs are almost on automation these days.. Hard to believe anyone carding joins these days gets paid with any type of consistency/scalability. Which is why I would suspect a mid rotating/burning "back room" sponsor.

Damn...that sponsor is burning everyone then

NYRangers 01-08-2019 05:56 PM

It's an affiliate scam. Common through affiliate networks and Philippine chatters. These cunts trick idiots into putting in their credit card number on a fake page. Then these fucks share the cards among themselves and sign up.

Fraud and chargeback Hell. You might be surprised how many of these companies exist.

crockett 01-08-2019 06:00 PM

I'm just a sexy girl ..

Diomed 01-08-2019 06:00 PM

The difference is the carding.

There are still some phillipino firms who work from scripts but most indeed are playing foul.

freecartoonporn 01-08-2019 07:12 PM

thats some next level shit.

no need to buy proxy, email accounts.,

Diomed 01-08-2019 07:28 PM

Pitch script: 1/10

Pitch angle: 1/10

Link conveyance: 1/10

Lander continuity: 1/10

Giving away cards to join via local geos: 10/10 (still awful cunts)

Ability to pull a comprehensive pitch with proper continuity: 1/10

Rest easy knowing these dumb dumbs are only doing 1/10th the damage that they could. Fucking phillipinos..

Apparently you can buy stolen CC's on the deep web for as low as $1. Perhaps they are purchasing those and doing some sort of PPS trial.

AdultKing 01-08-2019 10:11 PM

Dankse Bank seem to offer a debit card but it doesn't look like it's prepaid.
