Correct me if I’m wrong but the whole Israel Palestine region was part of the Byzantine empire for over 1000 years. The people who lived in Israel and Palestine did not speak Arab nor Jewish for that whole time. And before the Byzantine empire the area was also conquered and controlled by the Ancient Greeks.
