Any Americans living in the EU?

Looking at spending a year or 2 riding around Europe.

How do you get around the 90 days in out of 180?

I think I can go to the UK or other countries for my 90 out but I wanted to spend 6 months in Italy to start.

Open a company, get a biz visa for a year.
