Tube question: slow updates vs quick

Would you build slowly 10-50 videos a day custom title and description or upload all 6000 videos ( I have) and put them up without a description and title until you have the time to process the SEO for all of them?

I've seen shitty sites get tons of traffic with weak titles and descriptions.

great question, I've always been of the mindset that google likes to see sites that are natural and geared towards what the surfer wants to see. So with adding 6000 videos all at once doesn't look very natural, but having that many videos should keep the surfer on the site for a little bit, and we know that google loves "time on site".

Let us know what you end up doing, and how it works out :thumbsup

What about a hybrid?

Start with 1000 so surfers have something to look at.

Add 20-50 daily with quality text.

Come back to the original 1000 at a later date to fix.

So I have 1000+ on the new site sly, 2 months in fresh text and titles plus tags. :)

Add 1000 and add SEO to make 2000?

dont do that, if domain is new, google knows it.

if you add 1k videos = 1k new pages, then google knows you did some autmatic shit to populate your site.

right now i am in the same situtaion , so i am going with this.

even though my domain is 2 years old , my robots is blocking all bots.

my plan is for

first week, add 1-5 pages /posts/video in your case per day
second week, 5-15/day
third week , 10-20/day
and so on

and dont foget to tell google that you added new pages per day, so google knows you are working manually.

nowadays its easy to populate the site with content either with api or with some other shit like scraping content.

after one month when google starts sending you hits, keep adding content at slow pace.

another method of mine is.

if you plan to add 6k videos at the first day, just dont tell google about it.,
only add those pages in sitemap for which you have created custom titles and descriptions.

good luck.

i may be paranoid though.

Exactly :thumbsup

No shortcuts with Google

Instant traffic = redflag

Instant massive content = redflag

etc. etc.

For the record I put up 1000 videos with organic text, 10-50 at a time manually.

I'll keep doing that.
