I Need A Joint ... doctor approved

Seriously, doctor recommended “marijuana cigarettes” for pain management. They’re opening a pot shop one town over and he suggested he write a prescription. The limit is half-an-ounce per day and I can designate someone to pick up my medication.

First I need insurance approval. They require written prior pain management drugs for the past ten years. That was from two hospitals, rehab, nursing home and current doctors. Tons of other documentation plus I have to see a doctor they choose to determine if I’m faking it.

A former CNA has a prescription and says it helps her with pain. I said it relaxes you and if you don’t tense up, then you could have less pain.

But, I’d still take Morphine but not at night, so one less dose. My goal is to get off the pain meds. If I’m smoking before sleep, I’ll not enjoy the uhhh pleasant side effects. I’ll need a lot of documentation and ID cards plus a Massachusetts-issued license to be to “legally inhale marijuana harvested in Massachusetts to manage chronic pain, limited to x number of ounces per day. For medicinal usage only and not shared with another individual. Usage while driving, drinking or during employment is prohibited and against the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

I jokingly asked the doctor if a bong was provided. He didn’t smile while explaining rolling papers and telling me they’ll “teach” me how to roll a marijuana cigarette. “I went to high school” and he didn’t smile at that, either. No sense of humor at all.

Don’t smoke in public. Go into the bathroom, crack open a window, then use organic air freshener to clear the air. Yeah, $10 for a can of spray without chemicals. No-name Walmart perfume is cheaper but I don’t want to smell either on me. “You can apply to the state of Massachusetts for assistance to purchase the spray of your choice (organic orange something). Provide documentation that this is for masking the odor of medicinal marijuana in an indoor setting per medical prescription.”

It would be less work to buy a can of spray at Dollar Tree and buy pot from a dealer. Oh you have to be tested bi-weekly to make sure you aren’t overdoing it. That will surely discourage overuse 🙄🤔🙄🤔

I did ask the nurse if I could take a hit of THC. Environmental effects, no finger burning, no harmful spray in the ozone, no fire concern and less ruining of our land. After she stopped laughing, she said studies showed much less effectiveness in tests. Then she asked me to email her my argument as she wants to put it on a poster for the office.

She offered me a bag of Christmas candy in thanks. I reminded her I’m diabetic and she gave me a $20 gift card for Dunkin’ Donuts because I said I drank iced coffee.

I went in and expected a boring, quick visit. I left laughing, happy, and thinking this was a good way to end the year.

It's not a prescription, it's a recommendation. Insurance will not cover weed.

I like weed too. You can see my weed shenanigans from years ago if you search my old username. I do this weed shit.

Moisten a paper towel, put seed(s) on paper towel, fold it over a time or two, seal it in a baggie and stick it in a drawer. They will germinate in 2-3 days.

Pot is great for pain. If possible, try to get a strain that has a lot of CBD, it's great for pain, inflammation, and it just chills you out a little.

Grapesoda 12-13-2018 07:44 AM

i have been using weed for pain since nov 2015. not as much fun as you would hope. first off smoking sucks, even smoking weed. when I eat the stuff I fall asleep. smoking weed makes me sick to my stomach, I haven't had a dream at night for years either. when I started smoking i stopped dreaming at night. I lay down and get back up with no interruptions in my thoughts. I close my eyes and when I open them a few hours later I am fully awake and alert.

when I was shooting daily I would smoke about 7 joints a day. now about 3 of 4 joints a day... and rosen, I have access to reformulated rosin. looks like really fine hash.

I fucking hate prescription drugs, sad to say but if so inclined I'd trust ANY drug you can pick up on the street over scrips. Oxy and fen-phen anyone?

I'll take antibiotics if needed but aside from that? fuck no. I got my tubes tied about 10 years ago and was given morphine, made me so itchy I thought I would scratch my skin off. the mental trip was fun but lying in bed and couldn't even have my cats cuddle me cuz their whiskers made my skin crawl? just awful. a few years back got a piece of my insides removed and it was excruciatingly painful during recovery but refused anything stronger than tylenol 3. same when a drunk driver hit me a few months back. script meds to a large extent cannot be trusted

that said, the irony is I have a med certificate for weed. I live in Jamaica, the weed here is fucking STRONG. a few puffs and I need a nap and can't formulate a coherent sentence so not conducive to work. I get massive anxiety and herb helps so went to a clinic, had a 2 minute skype call with a doc and got this awesome vape pen (aka my MVP most valuable pen) that's half TCH, half CBD. totally relaxes me but my head stays clear.

highly recommended if available in your area. wow the hoops they're making you jump through though, yet one can walk into any store a buy a bottle of rum. insane the rules regarding substances.

happy the nurse was nice to you as well. she clearly understands what 'care provider' actually means

beyond that, want to apologize to you. I knew the original Pam was a chica but honestly thought based on some of your posts that some dude had hacked your account. I was wrong and I'm really sorry I disrespected you.

now go get some herb :pimp

Pam smoke the reformulated rosen like I do... 5 or 6 hits a day... small hits no coughing. I use a nectar collector, I find the 'pure' cartridges to be the best for vape... I think I'm done with flower for a bit... just too fucking nasty to smoke

Last time I smoked weed was 23rd September. Thought I was having a heart attack but turns out it's something called costochondritis. Scared the shit outta me.

Shitty thing about it is, they apparently don't know what causes it and they don't know how to fix it besides giving you painkillers and anti imflammatories.

I was trying that. Four times actually. The germination process is abnormal on this one. Black kush is elusive.

No worries. Honestly, a bunch of anonymous nicknames think I’m male. Should I let this affect me? Not these days. When promoting my niche I needed people to believe me. They’d call and hear a female who had a thick Boston accent. I’d answer anything and if I were an imposter, I’d have had an incredible recall. Could I find an impostor to do a TV interview ?!

If we did business, we’d need to talk on the phone. People have claimed I was female but you don’t know if they’re lying.

I’m told that someone I have on ignore vouched for me. I laughed and don’t remember why they’re on ignore. I’ll probably delete that and message them out of curiosity

I am curious, though. How do men and women post differently? My political leanings are male? My sexual thoughts are male? I don’t talk about sports and beer, good pussy or big breasts, yet don’t talk about cooking or sexual harassment, shoes and makeup..... I commented on all topics that interest me and post when articles or subjects were worth sharing. I try to steer away from medical crap but that’s not gender specific. Wait, I was hospitalized when an ovarian cyst burst, temp hit 104 and that’s gender specific, but I don’t think I posted about it. Those details are not something you discuss with strangers, especially males.

If people want to think I’m male, oh well. I’m flattered that they think about me at all 😘😘😘

Bedtime for this female. I’m wearing a pink nightie, pink and white striped socks and a blue uhm undergarment. 2/3 female colors. Majority says I’m female born and not a crossdresser.

HairyChick 12-16-2018 09:19 PM

Prices on legal THC pills are criminal. $30 for four pills for a day. $900/month and no insurance. The state is forcing people to break the law, otherwise you’re in pain and can’t work. You then break the law to break the law.

it's pretty nuanced and clearly prone to error (hence my apology) but yeah, usually I can tell the difference

I think what it was for me was it seemed like you were very focused on the 'looseness' of women (both figuratively and physically) which isn't the norm for me and tends in my experience to be a typically misogynistic male trait.

probably has something to do with my own biz and the friends I've made through it.

also the fact that the only fun clubs in any nation I've lived or spent significant time within since I bounced from the freezer are chock a block sex workers. so not exactly a lot of judgment about sex or sexual women from the chicas who have granted me the pleasure of their presence in my life.

feel lucky for my skewed perspective.

wherever I go irl I tend to end up parring with physical provider sex workers. they have the best music and don't care if I swear or enjoy carnal pursuits.

but yeah, your posts are what....a grand total of 5 mins of out of your life in a day that is comprised of 1440? the internet does sometimes show a skewed perspective of who peeps are.

lesson learned

enjoy ovulating and back on topic blaze up :pimp

If used properly and legally, otherwise you’ll be taking a chance.

I’m tired of the rules of Morphine. Can’t prescribe for more than two months. It’s a ripoff on insurance that pays for a visit six times a year. It increases everyone’s bill. If a patient is on it for the foreseeable future, give them six months of pills. Short-term is the ones who need shorter prescriptions.

You can’t reorder it until one day before it runs out. If someone doesn’t order it, I have to wait until the next day when the pharmacy delivers. I miss doses and don’t like that. After ten-plus years and over eleven thousand pills, missing a day doesn’t affect me. But I’m always worried it might ... though in retrospect, one time the nursing home didn’t order and I went without for four days but no more pain came through. I think it runs through my veins!

Okay, I’m tired and my mind is barely awake, but ... OneHungLo is a fake nickname of a fake nickname of one of your fake nicknames. So, you’re OneHungLo? But his words are bullshit and his words are yours.

I think you blazed before you wrote that 😉

You didn’t fuck up. I sorta remember a post where I put down women who cheat with their husband’s permission, if they tape it to make money, and I put the men down for earning off their women.

Men are wrong for not pleasing or fulfilling their wife, and for not manning up and getting a job. Women are being used by that man even if they enjoy the sex. 100% of the money should be theirs and not to support the man.

Each situation differs. I’m stating that as a general comment because there are varying factors.

If the woman loves sex and her husband agrees, fuck everyone you want. Support your man, kids, anyone you wish. But don’t get pissy if someone disagrees with your lifestyle. And don’t feel you have to justify your lifestyle.

I think women and men who do porn are awesome. They enjoy their job and while it’s not for me, I support them. But see the difference in the scenarios?

Now, if those comments and those before are the ones you refer to, I don’t know if they’re masculine or not. I may answer from a male perspective at times because I’m thinking, “if I were a guy ...” but I forget to type that patt!

A good friend used to call me a guy because I loved porn so much. Videos, magazines, websites and all, but not straight porn. Fetishes but also gay porn. Men love lesbian porn but I’m the opposite. Gay and bi porn does it for me, other than certain fetishes. Women who love porn are categorized as sluts, whores, loose, easy, etc. I was a virgin but loved it.

Everyone has a sexual trigger. You see it, read it, think it and you’re aroused. My triggers are different but I’m unique and I don’t apologize for it. It’s legal and consensual.

As long as I can face myself in the mirror, life is good. And on that note, off to dream of this subject I hope!

It’s part of a spinal issue and partial paralysis from a TBI caused by cardiac uhm I can’t think of the word. Apparently at the dentist a germ traveled to my heart. It’s fairly common but most patients don’t tell the doctor they visited a dentist.

Mom taught me good oral hygiene. It’s a parent’s fault!

Morphine and Oxy help but the pain is there. I feel for people who don’t have health insurance and end up on illegal drugs, homeless, jail, and worse. Our government needs to fix this by building hospitals for indigent people in severe pain, housing them with meds, supervising a return to the community with a CNA and training them for a job. Build daycare centers for working parents and hire people. Moms pay half their paycheck to daycare. Welfare is easier. Build training centers for our youth.

We have a drug issue and legitimate medical issues of pain. Treat the source and improve the lives of your citizens. Jails are overcrowded with drug users but they’re back on the street with no skills or job opportunities.

Off my soapbox

Sabby 12-18-2018 11:08 PM

No it wont, only if that person is predisposed.
That's like saying every beer will make you an alcoholic.
Every person who's ever taken any opiate will become addicted.
