Questions about Chaturbate and affiliate credit

Right now I'm promoting Chaturbate through a white label.

I'm concerned that people, upon reaching my WL, either punch in the Chaturbate URL or, after signing up, switch back to Chaturbate.

(a) If someone reaches my WL and then redirects themselves to Chaturbate.com, will I receive the signup? Will the cookie give me credit if a visitor starts at WL but ends up signing up through Chaturbate.com? Again, this would be a case of traffic originating from WL.Chaturbate.com and, for whatever reason, ending at Chaturbate.com.

(b) After signing up through my WL (and/or Chaturbate if the above is true), will I receive commission if they spend through Chaturbate.com and not my WL despite the signup originating through my WL?

I've asked support about these two situations multiple times and they don't seem to get it. Basically, how well does Chaturbate track my traffic? Does affiliate credit stop when the visitor leaves my WL subdomain? Do I get paid for money spent OFF my subdomain and on the Chaturbate domain?

I send thousands of unique visits per 15 days and the results haven't been impressive. This is highly targeted traffic that spends well elsewhere.

Its my understanding you would get credit in both circumstances, although there may be some scenarios in the first circumstance where you wouldn't. I'm curious though why you would think your traffic would hit your white label and then send themselves over to chaturbate.com ? Is it because of the cb logo in the corner of the live streams? I would guess less then 2% of your WL traffic would type in the cb url and send themselves away from your WL.

Thanks for weighing in! I don't really like using a WL, however Chaturbate's affiliate links are so bad (and are immediately flagged by ad blockers) that I've opted to use a WL and subdomain. I've tried to make my WL resemble Chaturbate as much as possible and the key difference is the logo -- "WL Name | Chaturbate" -- thus giving the appearance of a partnership.

Another reason for this is because my site has a massive thread where people post links to active performers within a certain niche. These links are Chaturbate links and it's easier to replace "chaturbate.com/performer" with "wl.chaturbate.com/performer" automatically via a filter as opposed to trying to edit and conceal Chaturbate's awkward affiliate link structure. It would be nice if it resembled Streamate (which remains my favourite, but there's a dearth of performers within my site's category at the moment).

-----------------------------

Visitors know they're on Chaturbate. I'm not sure how often this happens, but I'd guess it isn't infrequent. But that's good to know. I imagine if they left my WL and visited someone else's WL, that other person would understandably receive credit. My key concern is a member punching in "chaturbate.com" after landing on my WL.

Does anyone else have feedback on this topic?

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure that:

1st cookie wins. If your visitors haven't visited CB or a white label previously, then your cookie will get the credit, even if they sign up later on CB or a different white label

Excellent. Thanks Acepump!

This is the right answer.
