I am going to be attending the Internext Expo January 22 to 25 but I have no desire in staying at the Hard Rock. Been there and let's be honest; it sucks! (the smoke, restaurants, gym etc...)

Where is everybody staying?
I need recommendations for nearby hotels.

Mostly everyone stays at the Paradise tower, just book thru the internext-expo.com hotel link or call them and verify which tower the Internext crowd is staying..
Or
Use Google maps and type: hotels near hardrock casino las vegas
You'll see hotels like: Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas
but its a pain in the ass to walk back and forth since there's lots of events and you want to change clothes for the night parties, etc.
p.s. make sure and stock up on water and snacks at CVS

To me it's crucial to be able to go back to your room in 2 minutes rather than to have to take a cab if you forget something... :2 cents:

I agree with the above about staying at show hotel most definitely.

It does make sense when the event and venue is 100% B2B, like at the PHX forum. However, the Internext and AEE seem to be happening at the same time this year.
