I don't think anyone ever claimed it was all fake news.

I don't see how anyone on either side can't concede there are massive levels of manipulation and propganda at play. Just because they are aligned with X interest now, certainly doesn't mean they will always be.

They act as an independent arm of the establishment, manufacturing consent, and I can assure you they don't have your best interest at heart.

People choose what they want to believe. The CDC says don't eat romaine lettuce and they take it as gospel and don't. The CDC says vaccines are safe and save lives and some of those same people will think it is a global conspiracy to hurt them.

When actual facts are reported, they don't become propaganda just because you don't like how it shows Trump in a bad light. He says and does shitty things. The news records it or finds out about it and reports it. Almost all of it is shitty because his administration is shitty. And so are the shitty people like you who helped put him there. If there was a moderate competency and intellect requirement before voting, that stupid motherfucker would still be rotting in washed up reality TV star hell, where he belongs. No one should be hearing anything about Donald Trump.
