So this trooper, the same guy who was suspect in shooting up the house of Alabama's first black judge, now shoots the only Democrat district attorney in Alabama in the face during an ambush.

In a strange and gruesome incident, Greg Griggers, the district attorney for Alabama’s 17th Judicial Circuit, was shot in the face by a state trooper early Thursday afternoon, reports AL.com.

The former cop was shot to death by law enforcement at the scene.

“Griggers got shot in the face and they killed the ex-state trooper who shot him,” Michael Jackson, another DA, told AL.com Thursday afternoon.

“They say he’s going to recover,” Jackson said. “I got an investigator going down there [to Demopolis] right now, and they’re going to give me updates.”

WVUA 23 in Tuscaloosa reported that Griggers had been ambushed waiting in his car.

The motive for the shooting is unclear. Griggers, a Democrat, has served as district attorney since January 2003.

Yeah... I deal with these people daily. It was normal convo and he brought up something about how he was mad about the tax cut fucking company drivers and said he was going back to a LLC because he had a good accountant.

He said he was from central FL so I was asking him about the accountant as I need a new one soon. Was normal convo then two black foreigners came in ordered something and left so that sparked his fuse because they weren't speaking English..
