Fox News files amicus brief , on behalf of CNN’s Acosta, calling Trump antagonistic

And now the worm turns :banana

It's nice watching Fox News kick Trump in the balls

“Fox News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential,” the network announced. “Secret Service passes for White House journalists should never be weaponized.”

Fox News files amicus brief on behalf of CNN’s Acosta — and calls out ‘antagonistic’ Trump

Fox News on Wednesday announced that it would be filing an amicus brief on behalf of CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who recently had his White House press pass rescinded by the Trump administration.

“Fox News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential,” the network announced. “Secret Service passes for White House journalists should never be weaponized.”

The network then called out the “antagonistic tone by both the president and the media” during recent press conferences, while reiterating that it supports “a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people.”

The White House stripped Acosta of his press pass after a testy exchange with the president. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also drew criticism for promoting a doctored video that made it look like Acosta had been physically aggressive with a White House intern.

Oh wait... suddenly Fox News isn't the worst news on the planet intent only on lying to brainwashed hillbilly retards???

Strange.

King Mark 11-14-2018 11:05 AM

They both are tard producing brain wash outlets. We're talking about them supporting each other against Trump tho. Fox nicking this in the bud before they next.

Acepimp 11-14-2018 11:12 AM

Is this coming from that gay loony leftist Shepard Smith?

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The White House / Secret Service can revoke anyone's pass at any time. There's no case here. Acosta is just being a whiny bitch (some more.)

Seriously man stop calling it news.. even Murdoch classes it as entertainment.

And Ty for illustrating the video I posted, it was in reference to how your brains will explode as you don't know which side to take. I see you went with name calling and deflection, which was predictable but disappointing as I was hoping for the “alternative facts.”, I'd guess your "news" sources are preparing them now for you.

maybe come back and post them later

BTW there's 150 reporters in a press conference.. Trump can take or refuse questions from any of them
Cnn still holds 50 press passes

your being clucked from left and right ;)

Sorry, all i read was "i don't live in your country and literally 95% of what I talk about every single day on this forum has absolutely nothing to do with me and is none of my fucking business."

Rochard 11-14-2018 11:40 AM

Fox News jumped all over Trump and loved him. Back then it was "anything to beat Hillary". That was a huge mistake. They have weened themselves off of the Kool-Aid and now see what a huge mistake they made. Now even Fox News knows this is damaging our country.

They realize the same can happen to them when the next democrat is in office. Fox news is still Chump propaganda TV and can suck John Holmes rotten nuts

That sounds really nice except for the fact that not a single one of you can name a protestor, posting as a "journalist" who is as disruptive and as routinely rude and disrespectful as Jim Acosta, heckling and hogging the mic and asking question after question after question after question after question, stating his opinions non stop instead of asking questions, trying to turn every briefing into a debate between him and the President and all while refusing to give anyone else their time or to give up the mic.

I'm an American Tax payer, I pay more tax in the USA than I do in Australia. While I don't have the right to vote in the USA, I think I do have the right to bitch at a Government I'm helping to fund.

I read on CNN today they still have 50 reporters with white house press credentials. I don't think there should be a panic by the press that they will lose access to white house press conferences.

Trump calls the media lying scum during his press conferences, then tweets that other reporters who don't respect him or the White House will be next.

Trump thinks the presidency is a kingsmanship.

Trump doesn't realize he works for us.

Trump has never read the Constitution.

The First Amendment prohibits denial of a press pass "arbitrarily or for less than compelling reasons.” Also Trump throwing a hissy fit and revoking Acosta's credentials violates the Administrative Procedure Act, which governs how federal agencies issue regulations and it enforces the Constitutions due process clause.

Mark, you crack me up :thumbsup

I'm not defending Trump. I'm defending Sarah Sanders and the Secret Service.

Acosta's behavior was inappropriate, period. There's no case here, other than the case that Acosta is a liar and a jackass trying to sue.

I think how Acosta behaves in the white house deserves a time out. There are 30 plus questions asked during each news conference by all kinds of journalists. Funny how the there is only a problem with one reporter.cnn has 50 other reporters that can ask same questions Acosta would.

Yes, Trump hates CNN

Trump lies about CNN daily calling them "fake news"

Sarah Huckabee Sanders released a video (that she later admitted was doctored) trying to smear Acosta, to punish him.

Trump thinks he can break the law and punish Acosta because Trump thinks he's a badass dictator king of the world.

They're always too busy expressing their fake outrage for ratings and to appeal to the fringe. If it wasn't for fake outrage, they'red be no outrage at all. After all, what should Democrats worry about? Things voters care about?? That's absurd.

I don't doubt that.

For example, I am sure that Anderson Cooper has WH press credentials. However, he is based out out of NY (I believe). I would guess all of their main anchors have such press credentials. However, this is not about Jim Acosta. This is about Trump going to war with CNN. They can put someone else in and what's going happen? If they ask a question they will be called stupid or racist? Or should they just sit in the back of the room and not ask questions.

This is about how the Trump administration treats the press.

Fake outrage, fake news, fake votes, fake walkaway, fake Nazis, fake racists. Your delusional thoughts are entering Trump territory. You've been very unhinged since voters overwhelmingly rejected Republicans and fascism.

You are mirroring Trump.

Trump is in a ‘dark mood’ and ‘pissed at damn near everyone’ — including Melania: White House official

Acosta was not inappropriate. He is a reporter who deserves answers to his very important questions to Trump, which Trump has endlessly refused to answer or has tried to deflect. Then even worse, they tried to say he "laid his hands on an intern" as if he grabbed her tits or something.

CNN has every right to sue Trump. Trump is ignoring the 1st and 4th amendments, and came this close to slandering Acosta. And as you now know, Fox News is actually on the side of CNN. If Trump is allowed to get away with this, he can bar anyone he wants to from the WH news room, leaving only those who report exactly what Trump wants reported. Do you not see the problem here?

Not only does he not see the problem, he welcomes it.

Here is a link to the entire press conference which Acosta got into it with trump.
Watch how many questions Trump takes from all kinds of reporters before and after Acosta. He answers questions and is his typical self on what I'm sure for him was a disappointing night.

This bullshit is just the media creating a story to tell.

No specific media company has a right to a press pass.
