Noobs first adult site

Hello all,

I am a noob in adult niche, but always wanted to get into it. If you take a look at my info, you would see that my account was registered 12 years ago:) I tried out doing something in adult niche back then, but never followed through with it. Now, 12 years later, I am trying again :D

I've been thinking what kind of site to create, and I like the type of site, similar to zzztube.com (and many others like this). I was thinking how do they even make money, if they have no ads on their website. Until I realized that all those big tube sites are paying for traffic sent to them. I really liked this idea and thought maybe would be worth trying.

As for getting actual traffic to the website, I was thinking participating in traffic exchanges.

1) So now few questions. Does such business model have any chance of succeeding? And do you see any obvious pitfalls in it that me, as a noob, don't?

2) Is such thing as traffic exchange (where you send some percentage of clicks on thumbnails to your partners' websites) still viable? Do people still do that? And if so, where can I find sites, willing to trade? Is this forum maybe best place?

3) How do I start in traffic exchange when I have new website? Should I buy initial traffic and hope that it will pick up from there?

Thank you in advance for your answers ;)

Let me preface this with the fact that I don't make my money from tubes directly, so I may be totally off basis with my comments. But if you look at the fact that you will have to buy traffic to get this started, and to feed it until it's getting enough SE traffic to stop, then are you really making any money ??

Hubtraffic pays like $3.50/K for US GEO for surfers that click something other than the play button on the video. If your buying US geo traffic for say $2.5 per K, then you have get at least 70% of your bought traffic to click thru to PornHub, and since I've never seen cheap 2.5/K traffic without a bounce rate of at least 60%, then your loosing $1 per thousand on the surfers your buying :firehair

I'm sure there are those that are doing it, but I'm not sure they are doing it with purchased traffic, or if they are then maybe one of them will come in here and enlighten us all to the secret sauce to make that happen :1orglaugh

Good Luck :thumbsup

Thank you for your reply. Well, I was thinking to build up traffic from traffic trades, not from SE. But that's my biggest concern, I'm not sure if it's possible and is it possible to grow your traffic primarily from traffic trades.

TFCash 11-17-2018 02:27 AM

Sorry I couldn't be of more help :Oh crap I used to trade traffic back in the TGP era, but those days are long gone, and the beast has taken on an entirely different shape than what it was back then :1orglaugh

Try and find someone that is doing what you want to do, and see if they will mentor you! Offer your services/time in exchange for knowledge and training. I would suggest trying to narrow down on a niche that you enjoy, since you will be spending lot's of time and energy on the site. Might as well be something that you like :2 cents: That way if you can find someone that is in a different niche, they may be more willing to help you out since you won't be in competition with them when you get started :pimp

Again Good luck with your venture!

Hubtraffic is not good option for starters IMHO, because I read that to get paid is needed to earn at least 50$/month, because earnings between months are not cumulated :(

noctropolis 11-17-2018 02:43 AM

And if it comes to traffic trades, I know there are scripts which send some percentage of your skimmed traffic to other websites and vice versa. The example is: Trade Expert - Free Traffic Trade Script - Trading Script - Traffic Trade - Trader Script but to be honest, I have never used that and I can't say anything more about it.

Justin_Xsara 11-17-2018 02:47 AM

Thank you. Yes, I know about those scripts, they've been around forever:) I even played with them a bit around 12 years ago:) I still see some sites use them. But I was more wondering how effective they are these days. And also, where and how to find websites willing to trade traffic.

noctropolis 11-17-2018 02:56 AM

Another option for traffic trade is PlugRush system, but it is off now due to some maintenance (as far i know, it should be on again about New Year).

emmasexytime 11-17-2018 09:08 PM

Yes you could try:

Plugrush or

Juicy

but I don't think they will do what you want. You need to contact webmasters and find a good quality site and buy traffic from them.

Starting budget of at least $1,000 would be good. :thumbsup

Choose a niche too.

You need to ask yourself, why would someone come to your site over sites like pornhub and xhamster ? :2 cents:

It definitely rolls over. Hubtraffic was the first network I started promoting and is still the best

OK well they're either wrong/lying or were sending shitty and/or very little traffic. I've worked with hubtraffic for years and they're great, and for the first few months (before I was hitting the minimums) the earnings rolled over.

I could post a screenshot but i don't feel the need to prove myself. believe what you want

noctropolis 11-23-2018 05:50 AM

No problem, I believe you :).

But the problem for me is the fact that for publishers from Europe, company VAT number is needed (no option for individuals).

there are already too many tubes and they own the first several pages of google.

the goal would be to build something that survives on SE traffic and it takes an avg of 2 years to make the first page of Google for a niche keyword.

start building something unique (blog or paysite) and keep feeding it with lots of good keyword rich content. work on quality traffic trades, and expect to start earning profits in 2 years.

most paysite owners these days put in about 90-days before they quit. we get some who quit within 30-days lol. anyone putting in real effort tho makes money. our top 30 clients all make over 100k a year and a handful make 7-figures. we have a bug crushing site that became one of the top sellers on our network within a month of launch. the money is out there. people are still buying subscriptions.

porn is now a long game. you don't have to spend a lot, but you have to put in the time.

That's because most of the clip stores got rid of anything dealing with live material and crushing or eating :1orglaugh

I'm not sure anyone rubs one out to that anyway :Oh crap

his models aren't nude, although Jason at Verotel said there's a female bug crushing site where she's nude. there's some limits and regulations, such as no sexual activity, but these sites are well within Visa/MC restrictions..
