The CyberSEO plugin version 6 has been released in 2012 and its development was stopped in 2015. In 2016 CyberSEO 6 was finally replaced by the newest and most advanced CyberSEO 7 "Revolution".

Now the obsolete version 6 is freeware and you can download it from this page for free. The plugin is not encoded and doesn’t use source code obfuscators like IonCube etc. So you should just extract the contents of the ZIP archive into your wp-content/plugins/ folder and activate the plugin.

Important notes

• Since development of CyberSEO 6 was stopped in 2015, so there will be no updates for it. The plugin is distributed “AS IS”.
• The customer support is not provided to owners of CyberSEO 6 Freeware Edition.
• The official support forum is not accessible to owners of CyberSEO 6 Freeware Edition.
• CyberSEO 6 is not fully compatible with PHP 7.xx, so it’s recommended to run it with PHP 5.2.4 - 5.6.38.
• Many features described in the documentation (e.g. JSON, HTML and CSV support, HTTPS support, smart XML structure recognizer, autoupdate function, full text RSS extractor, presets, post templates, language translators, autotags etc), are available in CyberSEO 7 only and missing in CyberSEO 6.

Features

• The plugin accepts all existing RSS, Atom and XML feeds. With CyberSEO 6 you can grab blog-style RSS feeds, Ebay feeds, XML Shop feeds, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Adult Tubes (Brazzers, Nuvid, Drtuber, Pornhub, RedTube, Tnaflix, xHamster, xVideos, YouPorn, GotPorn etc), Livecam sites (AWEmpire, BongaCams, Chaturbate, Camsoda etc), XML tube (SmartScripts, TubeAce, NATS formats) and many-many more. With CyberSEO 6 you can import content from almost any Web source!
• The syndication algorithm has the ability to pull the content on autopilot. Furthermore, you can assign the updating period to each particular content source. Also you can set up a maximum number of posts that will be syndicated from it at once. This is a very useful feature for SEO of your blogs, because search engines don’t like blogs that add 100 or more posts in a moment.
• You can synonymize and rewrite every syndicated post, shuffle its paragraphs, add any random HTML blocks as headers and footers.
• CyberSEO 6 is integrated with the following content spinner services: WordAi, TheBestSpinner, SpinnerChief, SpinRewriter, SpinChimp.
• Proxy support. CyberSEO 6 will use your proxy-list to access all internal URL’s. The proxies are usually used to parse those services that do not allow frequent connections from the same IP’s.
• The auto commenting tool allows one to automatically post comments using user-defined content and random names.
• The unique "Parse WordPress archives" function allows one to syndicate all the published posts from any other WordPress blog with a single click.
• You can hotlink images from the syndicated posts or download them to your server. This feature allows to bypass hotlink protection, hide the image source URL and improve performance of the blog.
• Adjustable post uniqueness identification by GUID, the post title or both.
• Automatic generation of featured images (post thumbnails).
• The CyberSEO 6 plugin works with all existing WordPress themes and allows one to run a full-featured automatically populated tube sites, image galleries, pinboards, blogs, magazines, online shops and anything else.
• The PHP programmers can write their own scripts to alter the syndicating content. With this feature webmasters gain the absolute power on generated content!

why did you release it for free though? just link in the footer or?

To let people learn the possibilities of my plugin and get used with it. After that they will surely know if they really need to buy CyberSEO 7 or not.

You should assume that version 6 was released more than six and a half years ago. It's still one of the best WordPress content automaters, but if you compare it with CyberSEO 7 "Revolution" it will be like a 90 year old granny vs Batman ;)

Actually that's not really so. I've just fixed some small issues, but I won't add new features, compatibility with PHP 7 and new versions of WordPress etc.

There are many issues with that. For example, CyberSEO 6 does not understand the image URLs that start with "//" instead of "http://", so it can not parse them and store on a user host.

Also it has an issue with JavaScripts and tries to include http links into https pages (including it's own control panel in WordPress), so these scripts just don't work. I mean the problems similar to this one: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...-that-uses-ssl.

It generates broken GUIDs for https links. Those may look like "http://https://some.site.con/article". CyberSEO does not recognize https links when it adds rel="nofollow" and/or target="_blank" attributes on the fly (in run-time mode).

And so on and so on...

On the other hand, CyberSEO 7 was initially made to be free of all these known issues. Its parser engine was re-written and sufficiently improved/extended. While CyberSEO 6 supports only XML sources (including RSS and Atom ones) which external structure you have to preliminary explain to it, CyberSEO 7 supports XML, JSON, HTML, CSV and raw text dumps of any format right out of the box.

It analyzes the internal structure of XML and JSON files. E.g. you can give it a feed like this: https://feed.camsoda.com/api/v1/brow...e_id&type=revs or like this: http://tools.bongacams.com/promo.php...i&api_type=xml and the plugin will automatically recognize the internal structure, so it will know that every section in that sample XML feed is located inside <online_models> and </online_models> XML tags. The same applies to the JSON feed. Now it's smart enough to analyze the content sources w/o your help.
