What was the last piece of SOFTWARE you BOUGHT / PAID For?

We don't need to purchase much software these days. Most of what we need is already on the computer, or free to download legitimately...

So, ASIDE FROM WEBSITE SCRIPTS, what was the last piece of software you bought and paid for and downloaded to your computer?

Mine? SuperDuper!

nico-t 10-05-2018 04:56 PM

hm... The last piece i got was a piece of shit.

Downloading it was a pain in the ass though... so much for soft ware :disgust

I've been using the same software for years.

YNOT bought me a monthly subscription to Photoshop, but frankly the old version did the same exact stuff and was easier to use. I still use the same version of Dreamweaver I've had for years - I don't do much complicated HTML stuff.

TFCash 10-05-2018 05:04 PM

I've got a monthly subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, which is a saas but still have to pay for and download to my Win box, so I guess that counts :1orglaugh

Bladewire 10-05-2018 05:17 PM

I bought the last Sorenson squeeze update earlier this year for a couple hundred bucks

TwinCities 10-05-2018 05:23 PM

Just bought MS Office Professional for 65 euro for a desktop

PornDiscounts-V 10-05-2018 06:24 PM

Adobe Creative Cloud 2018.

I've also been going through the software that is free to download and donating to the authors.

I pay the yearly fee for photoshop. I bought snagit, a screen capture device. I also pay $10 monthly for https://imgflip.com/gifgenerator (to make a ton of gifs). For html I still use a very old one that still does what I need (namo 5.5).

I just had to buy a new license for that on a new machine at work. I love that this program still works after all these years.

A good friend of my Brother in Law created this. He still makes a good amount from it each year, even though it hasn't been updated in years.

This would actually be that last thing I'd purchased, if I hadn't just purchased an Unreal Engine based Cinematography "game" on Steam called CineTracer.

That's reminded me actually. The last thing I bought WASNT SuperDuper! but a 3 year sub to IPVanish VPN...

I'd forgotten about that as I rarely use it these days :)

I bought application "sleep for android" for android phone. When it comes to Desktop, i doubt how i will buy anything ever simply as i make my own programs there :D And open source scene is stronger then ever - for example, there was need before to pay for PDF editor, now there is plenty of open source choices.

Axeman 10-06-2018 04:14 PM
