any time a poll comes out that even remotely hints that R’s are ahead/up in any context, the next day or so there will be another poll that says the exact opposite, and msm will use the latter as gospel.

One thing is true.... If Kavanaugh squeaks through the confirmation process, he'll be one of the MOST CONSERVATIVE voices on the SCOTUS.

Proof?

Just look at what happened to Clarence Thomas.

Thomas' early jurisprudence was moderate with some rightwing tendencies. Just like Kennedy.

After confirmation (and grueling hearings complete with Anita Hill's testimony), Thomas is firmly on the RIGHT... in fact, in many cases, he was to the RIGHT of Scalia.

I see the same thing happening with Kavanaugh

Not so fast

September 23, 2018

The new NBC News-Wall Street Journal survey, taken six weeks before Americans head to the polls, shows Democrats leading Republicans by 52 percent to 40 percent for control of Congress.

If it holds, that 12 percentage point margin would suggest a "blue wave" large enough to switch control of not just the House but also the Senate.

Here's the big number. There were 4.3 million more votes cast for Democrats than Republicans during the midterm primaries. In 2010 there were 4.9 million more votes cast for Republicans than Democrats in the midterm primaries and the Republicans flipped 63 seats.

If the Democrat voters turn out in the same numbers they have in the primaries it will be a Republican bloodbath.

I'm waiting for 25th amendment, I heard it's just right around the corner any day now. Will be epic according to experts, eagerly waiting for the party.

Almost zero chance of this happening.
