Legit or PR Stunt? CamSoda's Camming Robot

The creator, Giles Walker, did build a functioning robot stripper (same design, same robot) for CES 2018. Can we embed videos here? We'll just rock the link:

So the robot is a thing. The question: Is it really going to be camming on CamSoda? I ain't seen no profile for Cardi-Bot.

Clever PR stunt, none the less. Reminds me of that Abby Oddly cartoon camgirl. Created quite a ruckus when it first dropped. But now, I'm sure people have forgot that event even took place. If this ain't just a PR stunt, I imagine it'll be similar.

sounds like what chaturbate did with the cartoon character awhile back. It will draw attention for a second then will be something that only a few weird people that are into robots will watch.

The cartoon camgirl was actually Dirty Folk Ent. Although they won't disclose it, 99.9% sure Harper the Fox is the operator / voice.

Some Colombian studio created their own cartoon camgirl. most likely seeing the reaction Abby Oddly got and tried to cash in. Actually, I should try finding the name again and see if "she" ever even got more than 100 Twitter followers......

yup, I knew it was harper the fox but I'm saying this is like that.. just people trying to make a buck being different.

Which, props to them! If you can do that viral 'shock and awe' bullshit, and make a buck off it, you're definitely doing something right!
