I thought Ivanka would be the voice of reasoning in the White House. I've come to hate her as much as her father.

I will never have any respect for someone that was born with a silver spoon in their mouth. They will never understand what it's like to be an average citizen. She'll never know what it's like to eat top ramen for four years while working full time and going to college full time - and then paying for that college degree for the next ten years while trying to raise a family on $40k a year.

She too has accomplished nothing in while in the White House.

If she can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. She has done nothing and is just there because it looks good on her resume and to line her pockets! She's an official advisor with an office in the White House and is fair game!

Out of curiosity, when did Obama do this and on what scale? I've tried finding sources that demonstrate this, but haven't been able to.

I think the answer to that is fairly simple: money.

Not really because first she already had money. Her and the Kush are worth half a billion or some crazy amount like that. From what I knew, her clothing line was doing well.

Then again, I read somewhere that the Kush is in huge debt thanks to Trump Soho and other things. Maybe she's trying to bail him out?

That being said Ivanka is not in public office. She has a token job with no power so anyone 'pleading' to her is doing it wrong.

they don't ask her that because she is not complicit. Just because SNL makes a joke doesn't make it gospel or even accurate. In order to be funny you have to make exaggerations and thats what they did... Making fun of her is like making fun of the royal family, low hanging fruit and not to be taken seriously.

She's the presidents daughter, position or not she has no pull, power or say on anything. It would be the same as pleading to chelsey.

Chelsea never had an official government position. Ivanka has an official position as a Presidential advisor, and as such is fair game for criticism. She, and others, have chosen to stay in those positions. After a year+ in the position, they too own the decisions this administration has made. If they don't agree with the positions, they should resign.
