cross sells
 

thinking about adding cross sells...what are the pro's and con's?
will people get scared off if they see them? do they really increase revenues? if so what % on average..?

your going to get a lot of religious people mad at you selling crosses on porn sites.

Im interested in knowing this too speak up would love to know.,

you can always just put them on the approval page - you'll have already processed their cards - before they see the cross sells. instant increase in revenue


ALSO - don't sell crosses online - there is no money in it. been there tried that

Cross sells work well to increase the transaction count as well which will keep the chargebacks down as the count goes up with volume. We do cross-sells between many of our sites with Netbilling and the retention is great!!!
I highly recommend it.

What are you cross selling to the customer? Is it for him pick ,like amazon or does it just show up and if you dont uncheck the box you own it? Does it not affect the CB ratio or is it sales go up so the raise in cb's dont matter?

We do it with the box checked so yes, they own it if they do not uncheck it. We do a free trial to the upsold site.
