Smartphone goes on "FASTBOOT MODE" help....

I have a new blu vivo 5 smartphone, cannot remove battery, it went on FASTBOOT MODE for 20 hours till battery is gone....

any ideas what that means? is my phone dying? (IS BRAND NEW)

Did you press and hold the power button & volume + button for 10 seconds?

Also, did you try pressing and holding the volume button and plugging in the charger at the same time?

Sounds fucked, I would take it back. I got an Asus max for a friend who needed a cheap phone $200 canadian and it's been great for her, 5 day battery life, camera not the greatest though.
