i wanted the kaminari kit for my MR2... then decided against it, it was just going to be too much of a hassle and i feared cracking it since i've already dropped it two inches lower.

yep.

If you got a body kit going and you drop it.. its going to crack. But kits usually make the car look lowered so.

Indeed, I am waiting for my side skirts to be delivered. I lowered my car 4cm's already and am hitting and scratching my front all the time. I hjope the sideskirts will be of some tough material :)

Dont think you'll have problems with side skirts.
USually the front bumper takes all the damage : )
