Yea, the magic we so accustomed to see by the German soccer team was nowhere to be seen. Last time Germany failed to advance from group play was in 1938.

They've had a great team for a few years, but they usually come unstuck.

Lastnight's game was odd, it was the b team for both England and Belgium.

And they've now got to get through a combination of France/Portugal/Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil to get to the final.
