And the winner is... Amazon...

Trump is pro new tax, fuck that.

Fuck Trump his administration backed South Dakota in pushing for the new online state sales tax. Trump is for the ultra rich 1% that's it.

Supreme Court rules that states can force online shoppers to pay sales tax | CNBC

"South Dakota was backed by President Donald Trump's administration in the case. The law could yet face legal challenges on other grounds, Kennedy noted.

The ruling is likely to lead other states to try to collect sales tax on purchases from out-of-state online businesses more aggressively. It also likely will lead to many consumers paying more at the online checkout. Forty-five of the 50 states impose sales taxes."

Everyone wanted to call it a loophole. It's always been this way since the mail order days. If the company doesn't have a presence in your state you don't pay a sales tax. If you're not in California, buy your electronics from Newegg instead of Amazon since Amazon is everywhere now.

Amazon charges tax in every state even if they dont have a presence in that state on all products supplied by Amazon ( they have for some months now). People who have their own Amazon stores were left to decide if they want to charge tax or not. It seems this new law will require everyone that sells any product online must charge their states tax on every sale.

I'm not sure if you don't understand or do?

As a online retailer in TN, if a customer from CA buys from me then I have to charge said customer whatever State, county, city tax they would be charged as if they bought it there and remit said payment to those entities..

It's impossible...

This isn't even getting into the fact that many purchases are made online for the tax savings alone..

I'll have to read the actual ruling.. But I'm going to assume that the buyer is considered the one paying the tax... So in turn that doesn't apply.. The person paying is represented.. The burden on the business isn't considered.

Didn't see your post.. Thanks Trump..

It was never Amazon who wasn't paying taxes.. It was YOu, but you dumb fucks were too stupid to realize that and just hung on Trump's nuts yelling rah, rah.. When he went after Amazon..

It still wont be Amazon paying those taxes, they will simply collect it from YOU. In fact this will put Amazon at an advantage to other smaller online retailers. It will be a major PITA for small retailers to collect taxes but for Amazon it will just be part of doing business.

Smaller retailers will get pushed out and Amazon will pick up a larger market share as it becomes too hard for smaller guys to sell on their own platforms they will get forced into selling on Amazon. Amazon will end up the winner in this..

You obviously didn't understand my post... You should know Amazon has been collecting taxes on all sales for a long while.... They were behind this to kill competition... Eliminate the small operators. To damage ebay as well....

I don't buy or sell on Amazon... I do however make money off of them though.. :) This won't change.. But my game will..

I think there has always been some fine print where you're suppose to pay the taxes at the end of the year... but fuck that.

TAXATION IS THEFT! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

Alt-right is programmed to hate Amazon & love Putin. The alt-right is programmed to hate anything successful in America.

The alt-right thinks us not being charged state taxes by Amazon means Amazon is cheating the American people, not saving us money and making the government the alt-right thinks is corrupt richer :helpme

That is the typical Bladelier reply to everything. The guy is so fucked up in the head that he can't even comprehend a few sentences.
