Any vegetarians/vegan gfyers?

I stopped eating meat almost a year ago. I can’t imagine eating it again now.
I still eat fish/eggs/milk. Not “fully” vegan ;)

brassmonkey 06-07-2018 12:38 AM

Congrats, I could never give up meat, but it's a nice thing.
Which I don't really understand, why is it good not to eat anything related to animals.

SBJ 06-07-2018 12:53 AM

I love steaks, burgers, and bacon way too much for that BS :1orglaugh

bns666 06-07-2018 01:34 AM

i like to eat meat but i try to avoid it as much as possible, feel much better when i don't eat it.

bigPunk 06-07-2018 02:49 AM

I dont label myself by any way. I just stopped with meat because I believe its less healthy for me.

brasslilcockmonkey, you can go f yourself if you will manage to find lil brassy down there 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Look Chang 06-07-2018 03:24 AM

Any totalitarianism is harmful! The human species is naturally omnivorous and deficiencies caused by veganism may affect the physical and mental development of growing children.

The Meatrix

It is very very very easy to find causes why Not to eat meat. First of all: it is good for the Planet/Environment/Future generations.
If it's something you don't understand: google it up, in english or in hungarian..
You do the right thing if you do not eat Too Much meat. Your body does not NEED meat all the time.

What we do with my wife and kids: we eat meat, but not necessarily every single day / with every single meal. We also grow pea, carrot, bean, cucumber, strawberries, every kind of berries, spices. My father-in-law who lives in the house next to ours has hens, so we have best eggs ever (hens have a huge outdoor space, not locked in a small cage! they eat all the remainings of veggies, thus we produce very little waste)..

I don't have a problem not eating meat, which I don't understand is how you can leave out cheese, milk, eggs, SOUR CREAM, etc. from your meal.
So being a vegetarian is okay, but I'll never understand vegans.
Is it good for the Planet not to milk cows/goats/sheep?

Acepimp 06-07-2018 05:13 AM

I might eat turkey or fish for lunch but besides that I am RAW vegan. Green protein smoothies are essential :thumbsup

There's a difference between ribs and a turkey sandwich :2 cents:

Rochard 06-07-2018 06:59 AM

I went fully Vegan from January of this year until just recently. It wasn't nearly as much of an issue at all. I work from home so lunch is usually soup. I lost weight at first but then not as much.... The problem was I do not eat salads (at all), and going out to eat was just such a chore finding some place where I can get something vegan that didn't include a salad.

If you put mayonnaise dressing on salad, you are not vegan.

For a vegetarian, but for a vegan there is no difference between eating a whole bullock and putting some cheese on salad.

RevenueLab 06-07-2018 08:43 AM

I can't even imaginemy life without chicken soup or BBQ :D

CaptainHowdy 06-07-2018 09:11 AM

I'm an involuntary vegetarian . . .

that's the ole corporate brainwashing

btw, for those who think being a meat eater is masculine or cool, try walking through a slaughter house and listen to them, smell it, see in their eyes the horror and pain they are going through :Oh crap

I agree, humans were probably driven/forced to eat each other, or animals at some desperate moment to survive, long ago... and it stuck with us. I am not against eating animals, but I am VERY against the pain, suffering, torture they go through at the farms, slaughterhouses, etc. These animals feed us/you, and our families, they should be cherished by us and given wonderful lives before their final days :2 cents:

You haven't even managed being a vegetarian yet, let alone a vegan.

I'm vegetarian BTW, have been for 25 years.

CurrentlySober 06-07-2018 11:49 AM

I just eat anything and everything. Even if its not that edible and past its sell by date, I stuff it down my throat anyway.

The more the merrier... I dont give a fuck...

Difference not relevant to the fact if you are vegan or not.

How so? Vegetarians can eat fish, eggs, milk.

Bladewire 06-07-2018 12:46 PM

If I had to raise, kill & prep all the meat I eat everyday, I'd eat a lot less meat. Killing something isn't a big deal for me, but prepping the carcass, skinning it and butchering it is a huge pain in the ass.

There's a local farmer here where you can pick out your animal and they kill & butcher it and deliver the meat to your door a few days later. A few hundred dollars out the door and huge savings over buying the meat at the store.

I don't like most vegetables I'm a big sausage & nuts & steak & mushrooms kind of guy.

I am talking about the growth of children. There is no doubt that poorly educated vegans are afraid that their kids could become more clever than they are if they had a conventional alimentation. Promoting the welfare of animals by penalizing that of children is definitively inhuman and voluntarily depriving children of normal growth is criminal behavior. :2 cents:

Vegetarians do not eat fish. He is a Pescetarian

from an evolutionairy pov we would have never gotten where we are on a pure vegan diet.

eating meat and discovering fire to cook it (and make it easier digestable) contributed largely to the development of the human brain and enabled humans to hunt faster and on longer distances.

science fact.

Nowadays vegetarians are usually fine, a fully vegan diet needs supplements.

And if you try to raise your kid on a vegan diet or your cat or dog you are an idiot.

2MuchMark 06-08-2018 09:02 AM

I still eat meat but mostly on the weekends. Nothing beats a burger or steak on a BBQ. But like bns666, I feel better when I don't eat meat.

I dunno to be honest. In my case, I don't eat fish because I just cannot stand the smell, look or taste of the stuff.

Millions of people get sick or die from salmonella, e-coli and listeria contamination from fruits & vegetables every year.

Lots of good reasons to limit meat intake, carbs and portion sizes though :thumbsup

ALL HUMANS have b12 deficiency...just no one gives a fuck until you say you're vegan...lol then everyone worries about your "protein deficiency" which is a term that doesn't exist in any medical books...ALL plants have protein..cleaner protein. some have more than the rudest biggest steak...like broccoli. I don't push my lifestyle on people...but if you want to live, then you will fuck with it...the evolution of humanity is happening...oh and btw I dropped 60lbs fast when I went vegan. Hell let JAMES CAMERON explain to you....

are you an Eskimo living in darkness and Ice? didn't think so.

and most of the world's population is vegetarian ..1st world countries have fast food access and look how fucking fat we are...go to Wal-Mart tonight and count how many females over 250lbs...A goddamn lot. When I see a fat person I think "They are poor and ignorant" this is class warfare.
My dad has a plant-based diet..he's run over 400 marathons, winning most of them in his age class( 65) He started running at age 54 and hasn't stopped

Love my life and I hope all of you will give it a real try for yourself and your family..stay with us a little longer

Is it good for the Planet not to milk cows/goats/sheep?

Dairy is almost as bad as the meat..besides the diseases it causes and makes you a fat fuck...The cows/sheep etc have to be raped to produce the milk...which is for the baby.

So the rape the cow, take the baby and kill it, repeat the cycle every few months..cow dies in 4 years and you eat it...cancer tumors and all and that glass of milk has 7 eye drops of puss and blood ( legally allowed)....yuuummmy

man fuck that...plus grown ass men having milk and dairy makes them look like a true bitch...pass
