Any vegetarians/vegan gfyers?
I stopped eating meat almost a year ago. I can’t imagine eating it again now.
I still eat fish/eggs/milk. Not “fully” vegan ;) |

Which I don't really understand, why is it good not to eat anything related to animals. |
I love steaks, burgers, and bacon way too much for that BS :1orglaugh

i like to eat meat but i try to avoid it as much as possible, feel much better when i don't eat it.
|
I dont label myself by any way. I just stopped with meat because I believe its less healthy for me.
brasslilcockmonkey, you can go f yourself if you will manage to find lil brassy down there 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 |
Any totalitarianism is harmful! The human species is naturally omnivorous and deficiencies caused by veganism may affect the physical and mental development of growing children.

It is very very very easy to find causes why Not to eat meat. First of all: it is good for the Planet/Environment/Future generations. If it's something you don't understand: google it up, in english or in hungarian.. You do the right thing if you do not eat Too Much meat. Your body does not NEED meat all the time. What we do with my wife and kids: we eat meat, but not necessarily every single day / with every single meal. We also grow pea, carrot, bean, cucumber, strawberries, every kind of berries, spices. My father-in-law who lives in the house next to ours has hens, so we have best eggs ever (hens have a huge outdoor space, not locked in a small cage! they eat all the remainings of veggies, thus we produce very little waste).. |

So being a vegetarian is okay, but I'll never understand vegans. Is it good for the Planet not to milk cows/goats/sheep? |
I might eat turkey or fish for lunch but besides that I am RAW vegan. Green protein smoothies are essential :thumbsup

I went fully Vegan from January of this year until just recently. It wasn't nearly as much of an issue at all. I work from home so lunch is usually soup. I lost weight at first but then not as much.... The problem was I do not eat salads (at all), and going out to eat was just such a chore finding some place where I can get something vegan that didn't include a salad.

btw, for those who think being a meat eater is masculine or cool, try walking through a slaughter house and listen to them, smell it, see in their eyes the horror and pain they are going through :Oh crap I agree, humans were probably driven/forced to eat each other, or animals at some desperate moment to survive, long ago... and it stuck with us. I am not against eating animals, but I am VERY against the pain, suffering, torture they go through at the farms, slaughterhouses, etc. These animals feed us/you, and our families, they should be cherished by us and given wonderful lives before their final days :2 cents: |

I'm vegetarian BTW, have been for 25 years. |
I just eat anything and everything. Even if its not that edible and past its sell by date, I stuff it down my throat anyway.
The more the merrier... I dont give a fuck... |

If I had to raise, kill & prep all the meat I eat everyday, I'd eat a lot less meat. Killing something isn't a big deal for me, but prepping the carcass, skinning it and butchering it is a huge pain in the ass.
There's a local farmer here where you can pick out your animal and they kill & butcher it and deliver the meat to your door a few days later. A few hundred dollars out the door and huge savings over buying the meat at the store. I don't like most vegetables I'm a big sausage & nuts & steak & mushrooms kind of guy. |

from an evolutionairy pov we would have never gotten where we are on a pure vegan diet.
eating meat and discovering fire to cook it (and make it easier digestable) contributed largely to the development of the human brain and enabled humans to hunt faster and on longer distances. science fact. Nowadays vegetarians are usually fine, a fully vegan diet needs supplements. And if you try to raise your kid on a vegan diet or your cat or dog you are an idiot. |
I still eat meat but mostly on the weekends. Nothing beats a burger or steak on a BBQ. But like bns666, I feel better when I don't eat meat.

and most of the world's population is vegetarian ..1st world countries have fast food access and look how fucking fat we are...go to Wal-Mart tonight and count how many females over 250lbs...A goddamn lot. When I see a fat person I think "They are poor and ignorant" this is class warfare. My dad has a plant-based diet..he's run over 400 marathons, winning most of them in his age class( 65) He started running at age 54 and hasn't stopped Love my life and I hope all of you will give it a real try for yourself and your family..stay with us a little longer |
