that time of year again...sitting back with BBCNews24 on in the background waiting to see how big the riot on Oxford Street is this year.

... same here in berlin ... but I have to say those street fighters ain´t what they used to be. a couple of years ago they were able to fight for 3 days non stop ... today they don´t last longer than 2h ...

... one thing I never understood is, what are they fighting for ?

is this the same as 3 years ago when i kept finding monopoly cards on the london undrground with company names on and hateful anti-capitalist information?

or is this to do with the hunting ban?

heh. when i lived in london, it was like the world revolved around it, when i left and moved back up north the news was like:

Well so far things aren't nearly as busy as past years. We shall have to wait and see what happens after the offical march breaks down.


Its not like the US hasn't had anti-capitalist riots...Europe just marks May Day, that's all.
