Unfortunately, it looks like there are quite a few people out there who just 'forget' to pay, they are 'too busy', etc. I've had five-six over the years, but for some weird reason, I decided not to write about that. Actually, I did write about only one of these situations, but after seeing your thread, I might write quite a long post. Good luck in the future... Maybe we should ask to get paid in advance or at least 50% as some people are doing.

Sorry you were taken advantage of. I am not sure of what the work entailed or payment arrangements. My rule of thumb is never conduct business if the client offers only a gmail email. I've turned down numerous quick jobs for that reason alone.
