It was not bad but it a has a tissue movie. For him to keep coming back as a different dog,he has to die a bunch of times.

Yeah, but because you KNOW he comes back, it doesn't really matter (in the context of the movie) if he dies... :2 cents:

I didn't know when I watched it :1orglaugh I was randomly flipping through the channels and watch that right after he was born the first time.

My dog of 14 years died a couple years ago I did not realize how hard it was going to be to deal with that. He's like a part of our family and traveled the world with us and with our other dog, we had 2. Our other dog is 14 now and she has breast cancer for the second time. Watching that movie was really good for me and kind of put things in perspective in a way.

Great movie!

GAMEFINEST 05-26-2018 03:28 PM

nice dog, but why crop the ears? If its a medical reason i understand, if it's just an aesthetic reason i am very much against that (grew up with dogs myself). Even prevented the castration of the last dog of my parents as well, let them be with nature full on and let them enjoy, the have a short life. Many dogs die as virgins without balls... i am all for giving them a life you AND they love.

btw that dog ended up impregnating a dog from the neighbors, it was funny as fuck to see him barking at an almost identical dog a while later... it was his son :1orglaugh

Yep, saw it a while ago. It's a nice movie indeed.

I got his ears cropped purely for aesthetic reasons, and to avoid futher ear infection issues. When I was kid we had a Boxer, got the top of his ears snipped, and bandaged for a few weeks no big deal. However if I would have known the ear cropping on this Great Dane was different, to the extent that it is, I would not have done it. With all the research I did I never saw any mention of how they cut and stitch the lower 3 inches of ear, fold it over, and stitch it together. I guess this is the way they help there very long ears stand up which is different than a boxers ears. So it's like someone took the bottom half of your ear pinched it together and then sewed it together. Awful

My vet says you can't cut off a Great Danes balls before they are done growing or it will likely cause skeletal issues and that 1-2 years old. That being said I've never spayed or neutered any of my dogs. The removing the hormones like that isn't natural IMO and my dogs aren't going to go out and get anyone pregnant they are house dogs. That being said, my vet told me that the reason my old female dog has had breast cancer twice is because she was not fixed and as they get to old age the hormones can start to cause damage. So maybe an old-age times I'll get them fixed but not for many many years :thumbsup

Killer has eaten a bit now.... I got him to run a little on the crest here... it's pretty cool .. perfect morning this AM... 5:30 ish...

I am going to get Killer some ground chuck and start feeding him a handful every evening... I started the guy on raw ground beef one day as a puppy and it was like he came alive... totally changed his personality.. he just stopped eating the ground beef one day because he is a dick .. I think it's time to get a bit into the diet, some fat as well

it's cost me $125. for a ride to the vet and back. he's just being a piss head because I moved. if I even moved this guys water or food bowl he wouldn't eat for 2 days... now with a complete move... hey if he starves to death, fuck him. I'll try and get a smatter dog next time. :2 cents:

I was told that changing the hormones would lengthen the dogs legs a bit, maybe a bit less bulk. my guy is pretty tall and just starting to really fill out in the chest and shoulders at 6 1/2-7 years.

he was neutered at 9 months... the human society does it very young.

BTW the vet gave me the same shit about testicular cancer... so I asked when he got his nuts cut off... just in case.... the vet didn't like that too much

That's good to know.

Damn he got huge for having his balls cut off so young that's weird. How does that work?
