same here, I've been slowly letting the traffic dry up there

Paul&John 05-23-2018 01:07 PM

Its even shittier when it was shitty

ZENRA 05-23-2018 01:17 PM

Totally normal.

It's usually not in the interest of a billing processor to reduce the amount of legitimate sales a merchant is generating.

Besides, in CCBill's case, you should be receiving emails by default for declined signups so the better question is: have you been receiving more declines these last few days?

True, but it IS in the interest of a Biller to keep their chargebacks low, especially in preparation for a major four day Holiday in the US in a few days (Memorial Day Weekend).

Just sayin'. :2 cents:

What sales? :(

Agreed about the chargebacks, but still in CCBill's case at least, they *do* send out decline emails (or at least there's a way to enable them) so you could see whether or not the # you receive is increasing or not.

very bad. SE traffic is up, previous month was great, but this one suck, not just last few days. I am getting ranking for the exact same money keywords so traffic quality or lack of strategy is not the problem

Yes I checked stats and do not see a significant increase in Declines over the past 10 days. However, I believe those Declines only are from Bank Declines, not CCBill Declines. Meaning, if CCBill never submits the transaction to their merchant bank you would not see a Decline.

The other possibility is CCBill is batching submits together, which happens sometimes. Perhaps this reduces their throughput fee. CCBill must have thousands of joins a day so it's possible.

My attitude? As long as the month (preferably the week) ends up in the correct range it's all good.

I've seen non-bank decline emails from CCBill. Examples: (paraphrasing) "user email is blocked", "invalid transaction, invalid transaction amount", and I think there could be a few more.

Definitely agree with you that it's hard to really judge stats on a daily basis. It makes more sense to pull out some and look at larger trends.

what are these ccbill sales you speak of? back when I had a ccbill program I would post that my sales were great cause all program owners would say that. :winkwink:

But now Chaturbate sales are doing great and if I had a day without sales there I would panic. :1orglaugh

wehateporn 05-24-2018 01:21 PM

I'm seeing unusually low CCBill right now, same for about 3 weeks

SIK 05-24-2018 01:32 PM

all good on my end

TACNet 05-24-2018 10:46 PM

No problems here although we only use them as a backup. As with all these 3rd part processors, their rates are ridiculously expensive. Far better to setup your own merchant account and then you'll pay about a 3rd of what you pay ccbill in charges

i know ccbill are doing a test today for their upgrade of TLS which could cause you issues if youve not upgraded your servers
