Bad News For Dems: Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump … And He's Getting Credit For It

Growth: A new report shows that the median household income has climbed 3% since President Trump took office. It's another sign of a strong economy, and at least one poll shows the public credits Trump for the good news. Should Democrats wave bye to the Blue Wave?

what is inflation?

trump supporters: *error in brain*

Bladewire 05-23-2018 09:07 AM

Trump said on air live that he doesn't believe in these reports because they're "easily manipulated".

The price of gas and the price of food are skyrocketing :2 cents: #ThanksTrump

"This is a sharp turnaround from the Obama years. Sentier data show that median household income was the same when President Obama left office as when he arrived. Under Obama, household incomes continued to fall steeply for two full years after the recession officially ended, and then took four years to make up that lost ground. Incomes then flatlined again, posting no overall gain between August 2015 and December 2016.

This is just another indication that the economy has notably strengthened under Trump. And polls show that the public's mood has brightened considerably as a result."

BUT BUT BUT rochard said he's done nothing :1orglaugh

Did you even read the article?
This also means that household income is now higher than it's been in at least 50 years — after adjusting for inflation.

ooops.

Rochard 05-23-2018 10:35 AM

Trump said live on TV that these reports are easily manipulated and he doesn't believe them, so why do you believe reports now that Trump says are lies ?

You're so desperate for good news from a corrupt Administration that you're willing to lie for that false feel good feeling. Sad

Why are you quoting a right wing article that's based on falsified numbers by the debunked right wing Sentier Research LLC?

They've been publicly debunked many times.

NYT Falls for Bad Numbers on Household Income from Sentier Research

"The Sentier measure is moved to a large extent by erratic patterns in income reported by respondents to the Current Population Survey fielded by the Census Bureau. Because the sample size in this survey is relatively small (the overall survey has 60,000 households, with only one quarter answering the income question each month), there will frequently be large movements which almost certainly reflect sampling error rather than actual changes in the economy. "

things are going great for me! My hard work and the timing of the corporate welfare tax cuts couldn't have worked out better.

beerptrol 05-23-2018 11:10 AM

and how much of a % increase is the rich and big business income since the tax cuts. 3% isn't shit when you factor in inflation and other costs. Keep sucking that Chump cock

How many billions did trump save with said tax cuts. So you cultist keep drinking that koolaid

You alt right slammed those numbers as fake under Obama, but now they are good under Chump. lol

directfiesta 05-23-2018 11:11 AM

and credit card debt is at its highest also .....

BaldBastard 05-23-2018 11:52 AM

Job market in the USA continues to grow, taxes have been reduced, so medium household wealth better be up!

Only problem is.. its up no more than Australia, and we have a higher tax rate, free health care, more unemployment and a far greater medium household income, closer to 80k.

So I guess locally its positive but internationally its just following the trend and sub par.

dyna mo 05-23-2018 11:57 AM

it's not a competition among nations.

Even if you're fake income numbers were true gas prices have risen from $2 a gallon a year ago to $2.93 a gallon now and are set to go up to $4 this summer. The price of food has gone up 3% this year and totally eradicates the 3% rise in income you're fake household income story professes.

I've noticed anti-Americans GFYers only exclaim they want good things to happen for America; because when good things do happen here, they are never good enough for the anti-Americans.

davidCRM 05-23-2018 11:44 PM

Median household income doesn't show which segment got richer, that detail is missing from the article.

You stupid fuck. The price of food is directly related to the price of gas. Did you conveniently forget that Gov Moonbeam raised your gas tax yet again last year?. Go check yourself back into Camarillo State Hospital.
