Me too. This administration is trying to condition a large section of the population into thinking that the justice department is corrupt and the media can't be trusted and does nothing but lie. It's scary.

Also what this briefing was about, is Scott Pruitt/Trump attempted to bury a report about contaminated drinking water near several military bases.

What is coming out is that SOME of the justice department WAS corrupt - that house is pretty well cleaned now, but there are always some dust bunnies hiding under the bed.

The FBI has over 35k employees. Can't SOME of them have been pricks? Just not possible? Why is it bad for this to come out - if true.

The CIA has over 21k employees. Can't SOME of them have been pricks? Just not possible? Why is it bad for this to come out - if true.

The media is - Jesus, I mean look at it. How much of the Stormy Daniels Network did you want? I guess it's more proof that we see the world the way we want to see it.

This is not about select departments - it's about select PEOPLE that did illegal things while in those departments. We would really be shit out of luck if the whole govt was full of these scumbags - so nobody is blaming all of them. You don't blame all cops because one of them shoots a guy in the back as he's running away - just the fucker that shot him and the ones that try and cover it up.

The US Federal Government should never be allowed to block any legit news agency from such meetings and hearings. This is such bullshit.

Of course there are bad apples in the bunch and I am not suggesting that there isn't corruption among these departments. However, Trump is waging war against many of these groups. He stands in front of crowds at his events and tells them how the media is full of nothing but fake news (which isn't true, most of what he refers to as fake news is just news he doesn't like). He talks about the DOJ witch hunt with the Mueller investigation, he talks about how they conspire with Hillary. This is not by mistake. He is trying to get people on his side.

I know people who have said even if Mueller comes back with evidence or proof that Trump did something illegal they won't believe it because they think Mueller and the DOJ are corrupt. I grew up in a small, very redneck town full of conservatives and I still know many of them. Many of these people believe the entire system is corrupt, but they don't think it is corrupt in general, they think it is corrupt with a prejudice towards Republicans and conservatives. That's scary.

I have no issues with trying to root out corruption and trying to keep the media and the DOJ honest, but the way to do it isn't on Twitter for the world to see or by barring news outlets from events because you don't like them. He should be using some discretion. Instead he is acting like someone who is guilty of something and has decided the way to keep from getting in trouble is to take out anyone who could bust him.

I'm sure you are not surprised that Trump's twitter feed has a slant to it. Or his public appearances. I don't find this much different than a tool like Rochard coming here and saying "Trump has accomplished NOTHING!" - when what he means is nothing that he approves of.


That is scary. We have to believe in the rule of law or we might as well forget the whole thing. Keep in mind, we can see evidence of the same problem on the other side. Can you imagine Mrs. Bladewire's response IF Mueller comes back with nothing? Or the opposite then what they expect?


If we assume what he is saying is true, he has reason to do what he is doing. If he's lying to cover up his own bad deeds, we are all screwed anyway.

We are all going to see soon. I don't pretend to know things I don't know. I can only assign probabilities based on what is currently known. CNN has been a major culprit in this mess - it will drip out and Trump's disgust with that source will be more understood.

I don't consider ANY of this to be a Republican vs. Democrat issue, but the Dems are really doing a ton of damage to their brand the way they are handling this and it's going to cost them, in my opinion. That part sucks as well, because Republicans (in office) are typically complete hypocrites and we don't need a boatload more of them like we're going to get in the next election.

When it is all said and done I just hope the findings are definitive. The worst thing that could happen is that the investigation ends up being left in some grey area where Democrats will scream that Trump got away with a crime and Republicans will scream that the Democrats just wasted millions on a witch hunt that went nowhere. I just hope we know, in the end, what happened and who was involved, good or bad.

I've been around people who are guilty of something (as have most people) -- and one thing we all know is that Trump is acting the way a guilty person acts. No innocent person has ever behaved in this manner.

When I watch what is going on (and it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion) I get really worried that Trump's tactics are going to work and everything is going to somehow fall his way.

In a perfect world, the world will see the truth, believe it and Trump plus his entire crew of pirates will go to prison. Even better would be a nice act of god, like a heart attack which relieves the world of an orange pimple in its hairy ass crack.

But this isn't a perfect world so that's not likely to happen. If the world is fucked up enough to let this crew of rogues and misfits take over our government and get away with the horrendous shit they're getting away with, then I don't have much hope for a correction. It really is up to Americans to mobilize for the midterms and change the house and senate to blue. At the moment, that government body is the only thing enabling this to happen and they should all be ashamed. Many of them should be put in front of a firing squad. Maybe they'll grow a spine and finally reach a breaking point because something has affected them directly, because that's the only thing that seems to motivate them. They don't give two fucks about any of us.

What I do know is, whatever investigation took place wouldn't have mattered because the fix was in - ALL the time.

That truth is going to come out - nothing can stop it. More and more people discover what has been happening every day, which is why - combined with Democratic fringe lunacy that real Democrats are putting up with only out of Trump hate - it's going to be the opposite of what you are hoping for. Yet 22 indictments daily outings of corrupt shit Trump does is not proof to you but you think the FBI is corrupt with zero proof other than Trump tweets..

I'm not sure what you think "proof" is. Andrew McCabe, the former deputy FBI director has been referred for criminal prosecution by the Justice Department Inspector General.

Is he guilty? I think so, but it hasn't been proven in court - so we wait.
