I'm interesting what happens with money in Paxum account, if person has died?
|
Got me interested.

Stay in the account until the yearly fees deplete it... Same thing can be asked for all online accounts like PayPal and skrill

Very wrong information in this thread. Obviously banks and payment services cannot keep the money for themselves if someone passes away. They are obliged to give it to the heir.
The person has to show them the proper documents, and they will get the money. Here is it in the case of PayPal. Paxum must have a similar procedure. https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/a...lative-FAQ1694 |
there was a serious case about a young boy who has 100k in bitcoins, died, and dad hasno idea has to cash em out..

The money belongs to the estate. So there's probably a procedure where the executor sends in the death certificate and probate papers and the money is released.

Works like any other asset. Can be claimed.

If the company is based in the US i'm pretty sure they have to turn it over to the state.

I mean this:
Does Paxum will pay money to family of person who died? Or this money will be profit of Paxum? |
