Paxum wire rejected by bank...

Paxum was very quick to handle the wire I requested but the incoming transfer was rejected by the receiving bank... anyone had this happen, was it recredited automatically? I'd open a tkt but it will take weeks to get an answer...

brassmonkey 05-18-2018 06:34 AM

contact your bank...

k0nr4d 05-18-2018 06:35 AM

I had them refuse to send to MBank in Poland (owned by Commerzbank)

pimpmaster9000 05-18-2018 06:38 AM

some of your payment info may be missing/incorrect...it probably has nothing at all to do with paxum...double check the info you put in, you may have a typo somewhere...

Bladewire 05-18-2018 06:40 AM

Damn, another glitch stopping people from getting their money.

Paxum support did not answer on a Friday afternoon at Noon?

That is very odd.

Please check with your bank to ask them why they rejected the incoming transfer. They should be able to provide you with an explanation. If it was rejected and returned to us then it will be refunded to your Paxum account once we are notified of receipt of the return by our processor.

I know why it was rejected IT ISN'T PAXUM'S FAULT, never said it was, the bank gave me an explanation as soon as they received it, as an offshore bank they don't accept any incoming wire that isn't from a personal account for money laundering security, just wanted to know if I had to notify Paxum or if it would be refunded automatically, thanks for your prompt reply Ruth :thumbsup

Same here. I submitted a wire transfer from April 27th. Usually takes 4-7 days max. We are on week #3. Same thing happened to another wire from 2 weeks before. They are getting here, but the 5 business day thing is total BS. Its taking them 3 weeks to a month. Wish they would just be upfront about it.

Yeah if I knew this before I would have used the send a check by mail option. Is that still even available?

Thanks

I have a feeling checks will be lost in the mail or delayed just like the wires and everything else. Nothing against Ruth or Paxum but these daily Paxum problem threads are heartbreaking. People need to buy food and pay their rent and pay their bills.

Given that you emailed here on a Friday and that this was a 3 days weekend in Canada I am not surprised she didn't reply to your email yet...

Got my Paxum Wire in two days

Tried out a Paxum wire for the first time - got it on two days - impressive. Destination was a Canadian bank.

PornDiscounts-V 05-22-2018 05:47 PM

EFT to America has its ups and downs. First time (before the current Charlie foxtrot) it was approved in two days and in my account on the third day. With the reps all tied up with new cards and new accounts and what not, now it takes 4 to 5 business days to get approved and then 1 to 2 days to make it into my account. Which means, money requested on Friday won't get approved until next Thursday or Friday and then won't make it into my account until Monday, over a week later.

Curious question: If I have a EU based Paxum account, can I have my US$ balance transferred to my US bank? I hate losing a large portion of my funds on excessive fees and bad exchange rates.

As long as the Paxum Account and Bank Account holder names match, why not?

You could also open an USD account in your EU bank and have it wired there in USD.

I was looking for reality based experience, not assumptions. But thanks. US transfers to a EU bank make no sense since their fees are way too high.

J.R. 05-24-2018 04:58 PM

Yes, I had this occur a few weeks ago!

Paxum said it was my bank, but I doubt that considering I never
had a problem until they switched banks for the 1000th time.

It was fixed, but It delayed my Wire by a week or more.

Depends on how much you are sending. It's a good choice above a certain amount. But of course if you can do USD EFT that's a lot better.

Too high fees are required to provide amazing service.

Without the fabulous five star diamond services of Paxum many online outsourced laborers could not get paid.

Usually they reject because of unverified address in the bank account details. once its verified they process it then

Had to do with the name on the account, which was my fault.
