So... How do we all feel about the new season of Westworld so far?
 

I've just watched the first 3 episodes back to back. Very different to S1, but I kinda like it...

However, Ive read very little about it on GFY this time round... You all not liking it or???

Have seen only the first ep (from S2) and I loved it..

Loved the second episode.

Just started watching S2 E1 I like the new intro and wonder what clues are there.

I'd not realised the time difference till I read an article about it. Now certain things make more sense - I'd always thought it was linear , but now I see its not.

Disclaimer: This may well have been abundantly clear in season 1 but I was at my height of my alcoholism at that time iirc...

It looks like they're trying to make a season out of what should be 3 episodes. Everything takes three to four times as long. The woman coming out of the water lingers there three to four times as long as normal. Someone gazes off to the distance four times longer than normal. Walking from point A to B takes 4 to 5 times longer than normal. Uuuuugh Drraaaaaaaaaaaging it aaaaaawww aaaaallllll ooooouuuuuuuuttttt :helpme

season 2 is the last. you notice this season has no direction?

Yeah its agonizingly slow and edited to draw out the length of every episode for , what seems, lack of writing. It's like 2 or 3 S2 episodes were written then the writer quit or got fired and they're drawing out those episodes into a season. Sad

Instead of someone hopping off a horse in a second, it's a long glance, cut to 3 camera angles, tight close up response to what the glance saw, dismissive reaction, cut to 3 different angles, twitching his toes in anticipation of dismounting from the horse, tghtening of the hands on the reigns, Beed of sweat down right temple, caught from 3 angles, the knee slowly bending, weight slowly shifting, normal speed, then slow motion, dismount complete, reaction from dismount caught at 3 angles, flashback to previous horse dismount, reaction to flashback caught at 3 angles. 15 minutes to dismount horse BOOM!

I was waiting for a new season so much, but I got so disappointed. :Oh crap

I was really looking forward to the second season but so far its been a bit crap nothing has even happened. Season 1 was so much better

I had dinner with a friend and he told me that in 2 episodes everything changes.
