It's no big deal. The guy walks his dog around the car. When they finish he gives the leash a yank then walks off.

The cop yanks the leash. REALLY hard.

To clarify, he wasn't pulling on the leash hard, he was yanking it hard. The difference is in the amount of energy exerted over time. Lots of energy in a small amount of time is damaging. (Think Physics 101). He could have broken the dogs neck or at least damaged the dogs windpipe if he pulled any harder.

If I had seen a regular person yank a leash that hard I would yell at him and call him a pussy for taking out is personal frustrations on a dog.

To a dog, finding drugs is a game. He's also probably pretty happy to be outside for a few minutes instead of cooped up on a car or a cage. The cop didn't have to yank him so hard.

Cops are fucking hotheads. I watched a cop lose his shit this morning when he was directing traffic for some road construction. The cars weren't going through fast enough for him and he went ballistic yelling at every car that drove by. What an asshole.
