Even if it was different . . . I understand a conversion fee, but look what Transfer Wise's fee is. I'm spending the rest off Payoneer and saionara.

Also better not to keep too much money on your payoneer account. They just screwed over their firstchoicepay users big time and the same can happen to all payoneer accounts.

YES, they do, but a lot of times, its Not enforced. You want to do business with the firm? That's their policy.

Adraco 05-01-2018 09:43 AM

You didn't know there are fees? Did you really think they just gave you a card like that? They are in the business of moving money, naturally they make sure that they get paid every time a transaction is made.

And no, those are not the same fees as a merchant pays for accepting a card, that's separate and paid by the merchant to the bank which handles the card processing.

I'm just saying fuck it, I have found a better solution. But taking % off the payment ... LOL, fuck no. I understand currency conversion fee but not that they charge on each payment, not ATM withdrawal only.

Cross border fee perhaps? That fee gets charged to me rather than the merchant.

BTW in Australia merchants are allowed to charge additional processing fees if you choose to pay by card, but the surcharge must be stated up front.

You'd be surprised - ATM fees Payoneer has are also sky high. Withdrawing USD700 would cost you about $40.

But, I have managed to beat the shit out of that hotel and got a refund even.

Get a Gold/Platinum VISA.

Merchants will pay YOU.

Sid70 05-02-2018 09:27 AM

I love unrelated stupid comments in my thread. Really.

bns666 05-02-2018 09:33 AM

nothing unusual

pornguy 05-02-2018 02:01 PM

Visa and MC used to have a rule ( IN THE US ) that said Merchants could NOT do that even if stated.

Not sure about now.
