Selling my business for Bitcoins or Cash?
Ok so i have a big dilemma now.
I'm thinking to sell my business ( which is quite profitable ) for personal reasons ( family, lack of time and some other personal stuff) I have a number in mind and my first instinct was to sell it for a certain amount of money/cash However, noways with this economy people are investing money less, or in some other businesses and crypto currency of course. So basically i was thinking that i might have to wait too much time before somebody interested will want to purchase my business for real cash. On the other hand i was thinking maybe i should sell it for bitcoins. I know there are a lot of guys who made it big with the btc transactions so basically i might find somebody who would gladly buy a steady income business ( generating about 2500-3000(€)Euros/month ) with btc . But also ..what if the btc prices will drop significantly after i sell my business? I can't afford to wait months or who knows maybe more, for the btc to get back on track. So..what would you do guys? Thanks |
I would sell it for money

i would do a poo...

what does it matter. You can ask indian rupia also, everybody will look at the price in USD.

Not to mention that for such a large transaction, the buyer will most likely want to use an escrow service for security. Now I'm sure there are bitcoin escrow services, but probably not as established as Escrow.com for instance. If you believe in bitcoin, just buy a large amount - no need to tie the two things together. |

rather than real cash. For example. if i would have invested in btc long time ago and obviously i would have some earning from it, now i would buy strictly from 100% profit, which is much more easier sort of speaking. |

i can send wires anywhere with a couple clicks |
Yup, but my point being, there are still TONS of these "shitty banks" around the world. Terrible really. They have never had to innovate or get any better, until now! :thumbsup

If the site is bringing in 3K a month then 18-20K would be the range. Take that cash and buy 2 Bitcoins with it. :)

So in your opinion, something that generates around 35k/year should sell with around half of its value? Last time i checked a website that generates income would be sold at the price of it's revenue on at least 15 months total. not less |

I forgot to mention that even if i do find the right buyer, i am not accepting bank wire. Cash or BTC only. Taxes here are ripping us apart so i don't quite feel the need to pay 16% to my gov, for doing nothing. |

just sell it to any coin and then cash out.
simple as that. |
For money then invest a little in bitcoins I would say..

How much organic traffic your site gets?

Besides, I am assuming your sites are affiliate sites yes? If you were a Program Owner with exclusive content then yes the price would be higher. But with affiliate sites, and switching so many aff accounts, it's less. Hey I hope you get 50K+ for your site but in today's world I highly doubt it. Best of luck. :) |

What kind of site is it?

Btw..what country are you from anyways? |

The websites started as a hobby, i'm not earning my living from them. I have a different income source so anything extra is good in any amount i can get. 3k euro a month is a good money in my books. money are goood no matter what or how much. 3k yes for some maybe is not a big deal for some. Probably you when you started in this biz you made it big from day one ( money raining down on you from every direction). Now you're a "bored billionaire" and a ignorant one as well i suppose( just like the other smart ass who thinks that if i am from Romania my business is related to cam) |

As I said, I hope you get a lot of money for your site. A site is really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and there is a sucker born every day. PS: And I did not insult you in my posts by calling you names BUT, seeing as how you are from Romania and naturally a fucking asshole who insults people, fuck you and your shitty site. :321GFY |

Prices have gone up in Romania then. A few years ago a girl would cost $40 euro. LOL |

You're better off keeping it and putting it on autopilot.

Romania sounds like sending money to Nigeria

6-10 months is normal, I buy tons of sites trust me It makes 35K IF everything stays good and the new owner likely puts in X amount hours of work per week. |
Combining a site sale with a cryptocurrency gamble seems like a novel idea!
Even if anyone has "profited" from old BTC investments they'll still be mentally pegging the value of their BTC holdings to their local currency (or USD). So it's not like someone who bought 100 BTC for $100 will necessarily want to spend 5 of them on your site. |
