Who is watching the Americans? I've watching it from the beginning and now this is the final season.... I am dying to know how this is going to end.

My guess is... Phillip will defect, and Elizabeth will end up dead at the very end.

I watched seasons 1 and 2, and then lost interest during series 3 - or when they told the daughter - whenever that was...

Like you, I have been watching since the start and I love the show.

Like you, I think Phillip will defect and I think Elizabeth will end up dead, but I think she will die helping Phillip and the kids get away.

It's amazing how well done this show is.

I had read somewhere that the overall idea for the show is based on reality that there was a program like this in existance. How much of the stuff in the show may be actually based on real stuff, I have no idea.

I find that I have to force myself to watch it now. Season 1 - 4 were great but it got boring at season 5. I will just force myself to finish it since I'm this far already.
