Far Cry 2 details vs Far Cry 5

Old news, but details do not mean anything if the gameplay is shit. I believe nobody here will say that FarCry 2 was a good game. It was boring as shit. It's the only FarCry game I haven't completed. On the other hand, FarCry 5 is a real good and solid product and I like it.

P.S. I hope that there will be a fix for FarCry 5 for the effects and physics.

I'm no gamer but I do a bit of particle work, and solely from a particle side, ( the fire, smokes and stuff) it looks very amateurish possibly even using googled textures.

Far Cry 2 was more about driving around aimlessly.

I loved FC2 so much!I own 3,4 but Far Cry 2 was awesome! None of the sequels can make me feel the same...

I've only played Farcry 3 and that was a top notch game, exciting story, graphics and game play +++.

I have never played a farcry game yet watched this video before you posted it on Reddit.
I still don't get it, I thought the better graphics.. The fire over a larger area, the ability to shoot branches etc were 5 are you telling me these were 2?
I watched with audio off BTW so if they explained it, well.

Yeah FC3 is the top on my list, played it through like 3-4 times at least. Love how does the game feels (beach etc).

FC2 is a game about DEAD world. Starting from FC3 the world is alive an it lives its interactive own life. You can watch at predators hunting at other animals, or at your enemies or at your allies, or your allies and enemies are fighting against each other. Your may just watch or get involved. You can hunt at enemies or animals, or be hunted by them. You never know where and when you will meet someone or something. How someone can even compare this FC3+ games with some boding FC2 endless riding across dead Africa?

I'm pretty sure FC5 is awesome, however that whole set up is somehow in-attractive for me
