The Death of Paxum

Get your money out now folks before it's too late. Despite what they may tell you, they're obviously about to lose their MasterCard service. It hasn't worked properly (on and off) for about a month and it's getting worse. It's not working now. Without MC, Paxum is pretty much useless.

Now, on top of that, we're hearing they're not issuing new cards.

Hopefully someone from Paxum can come in here and give us some truthful information (not counting on it).

blackmonsters 04-05-2018 06:55 AM

Sad if true op.

:2 cents:

That is a harsh statement ...

I think with all the things that have happened with systems like this before have turned this more into a cautious statement.

nikki99 04-05-2018 07:05 AM

I just got my card 1 week ago

Bladewire 04-05-2018 07:08 AM

Poor Ruth, she works so hard! Paxum give this woman a raise + bonus!!

NewNick 04-05-2018 07:08 AM

Unfortunately the regulatory climate is not helpful for these companies.

Governments do not like funds moving around the world without the correct taxes being levied, and the ultimate beneficiaries of that money being identified.

Paxum, Payoneer / Firstchoice they are all struggling to maintain their services as more and more banks decide that their business does not fit with their risk profile.

I dont think that the Paxum peeps are doing anything malicious, just a sign of the times.

We took a decision some time ago that we use wire only from now on.

I like the freedom Paxum gives and that they keep fighting the system that seeks to enslave us financially.

That's good to hear and the reason why I created this thread. It's good to hear confirmation of someone successfully receiving their card. Now, about their system...

I don't know if it's so harsh... Most of our clients are porn webmasters. We used to get tons of payments using paxum. Now we get literally like 100-200/mo or so. There has definitely been a substantial drop in webmasters using them for transfers.

1 week printing, delivered normal post office, 30 days Later in my house (south america)

J. Falcon 04-05-2018 08:24 AM

Yeah I'm sure if there were more people not getting their cards we would have heard about it.

JamesDrews 04-05-2018 08:38 AM

Paxum's EFT Transfers to my bank are always very fast.

yup... we now utilize Paypal, Venmo, and TransferWise for almost all payable/receivable

nikki99 04-05-2018 08:55 AM

Btw I used transferwise for the first time IT WORKS!

blackmonsters 04-05-2018 08:57 AM

I had a US account so I can't send or receive paxum anymore.

BigFurry 04-05-2018 09:06 AM

Never used their Mastercard, so I'd keep using it without it. :) Much better fee-wise than PayPal, and porn friendly.

I couldn't use their website to transfer dollars to Euros. So Ruth organised a dollar wire to me.

JFK 04-05-2018 09:31 AM

Just pulled a 4 figure sum out, works ok here :2 cents: :thumbsup

TheDynasty 04-05-2018 09:59 AM

Sounds correct

k0nr4d 04-05-2018 11:07 AM

I'm actually trying to close paxum account right now - but I can't.

"Your account cannot be closed at this time because you have an outstanding balance on your credit card(s). Please transfer the outstanding balance to your checking account (because the credit card(s) will be closed as well) or withdraw it at any ATM or POS. After the balance of your credit card(s) is zero, try to close your account again."

It's impossible to transfer from the credit card to the checking account in their system. I have $1,78 on checking account and like $39,83 on the card. I can't transfer the 1,78 (or rather, 78 cents because of the $1 fee) to the card at all because "Service temporary restricted. Please try again later.".

Awesome :)

brassmonkey 04-05-2018 11:10 AM

this is news?? you ban the worlds best country and expect to make it? :helpme:helpme

SleepWalker 04-05-2018 11:29 AM

I just had to pause a campaign because I can't fund it. (need to pay using my Paxum MC ). Hopefully some members will make a few deposits soon so they have some liquidity avail to move to cards and keep their Ponzi scheme running a bit longer.

J. Falcon 04-05-2018 11:45 AM

Is it still down?

RuthB 04-05-2018 02:12 PM

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with this downtime, and we appreciate your patience. Transfers to cards is operational again, so please try your transfers now as they should be successful.

This issue is one of the reasons we recently introduced instant withdrawal to external credit/debit cards as we want our clients to have additional instant options available.

We are aware of the new card issue printing problem and subsequent delays, and we have been working on a solution that should resolve the issue within the next few weeks.

We also regularly make changes to the backend of our system (security, updates, maintenance, improvements, etc), and occasionally these updates can cause interruptions in our day-to-day service, such as loading funds from accounts to cards. Our techs work diligently to reduce these problems.

Please rest assured that we value your business, we understand how important your payments are, and we are working hard to provide the best service possible to the thousands of clients that use Paxum everyday.

so far things work good.

while there should be some cautious with services like that, making bold claims like OP is not helpful at all

wankawonk 04-05-2018 06:03 PM

I'll keep using paxum until they close my account or stop paying. Never had a single issue with them.

brassmonkey 04-05-2018 09:20 PM

you fucking suckers!
