Putin, Erdogan launch Turkey’s 1st nuclear reactor
ANKARA, Turkey — The leaders of Russia and Turkey on Tuesday launched the start of construction for Turkey’s first nuclear power plant, as ties between the two nations deepen. Russian President Vladimir Putin, on his first foreign visit since being re-elected on March 18, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan remotely gave the go-ahead for the construction of the Russian-built nuclear plant on the Mediterranean coast at Akkuyu. Putin hailed the project as a symbol of growing cooperation between Russia and Turkey. “We face the ambitious goal of launching the first reactor in 2023 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey,” Putin said during Tuesday’s ceremony. “We agreed with my dear friend, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to do everything necessary to achieve that goal.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...=.0fd1ca10af6c |

И как так получается, что мы всегда в коалиции с самыми ублюдочными странами оказываемся? Мы прокляты?

Russia has a long history at FAILING with nuclear reactors. Poor Turkey! I bet it melts down or fails within 10 years Max, most likely 5 years. :evil-laug:evil-laug
Russia's failed nuclear ambitions: 1986 - Chernobyl - The Chernobyl accident in 1986 was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. The resulting steam explosion and fires released at least 5% of the radioactive reactor core into the atmosphere. 1992 - Leningrad - An RBMK reactor released a radioactive cloud which traveled over north-eastern Europe. 1997 - Leningrad - Worker Sergei Kharitonov revealed photographs of cracked walls and groundwater seepage at a nuclear power plant waste storage facility. He also revealed that the plant has been dumping 300 litres of contaminated water into the Gulf of Finland annually "for years". 1998 - Leningrad - An RBMK reactor was shut down following the discovery of a radiation leak 2017 - leak.[39] Autumn 2017 Russian Federation Roshydromet had issued report stated rise in beta activity of aerosoles and surfaces at all monitoring posts in South Ural from 25th Sep to 1 Oct 2017. In two aerosol samples Ru-106 activity increase was detected. At 26th and 27th Sep Ru-106 decay products was detected in Tatarstan republic. At 27th and 28th Sep high pollution levels of aerosoles and surfaces was detected in Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don. In two aerosol samples from Chelyabinsk Oblast 986- and 440-fold activity increase was measured comparing to preceding month[40] The Mayak nuclear plant is widely suspected as the source of the radiation. |

while you enjoy your clean coal :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh let me remind you that the biggest joke here is the USA....now the US army is in charge of 1000s of nukes, and the people in charge of these nukes are morons...lets face it, you have to be a pretty big loser to drop out of easy-as-shit US high school and have to join USIS....now these same people guard your nukes... you guys managed to drop a nuke on yourselves by accident in north carolina and by some miracle it did not detonate...then some high school drop out dropped a spanner in a nuclear silo and it ruptured a fuel tank and it exploded....then you guys left 6 ICBM-s unguarded next to some hangar for 36 hours...anybody could have helped himself...the people who command these people are also scary stupid...one was fired because he was drunk as fuck all the time and the other was fired because he gambled with fake poker chips at a casino...he was a vice admiral or something... you literally have morons guarding the most destructive things ever made... |

Russia's history with nuclear disasters is clear, as I posted it. Russia helping Turkey with nuclear power is like the blind leading the blind it's only a matter of time before disaster hits. |
