I am seeing so much footage and so many gaps being filled into my lack of knowledge of the civil rights movement that I've never seen in my entire life right now my mind is blown wow I had no idea.

yeah, the democrats in the south really hated black people, good thing the republicans pushed for civil rights and the NRA fought for the rights of blacks to be armed against the KKK.
