Organic Search Traffic Went From 1 extreme to the Other

I did 2 link exchanges 12 hours later my organic search traffic was booming and rose 16000% over 3 days and over those 3 days I had been adding links from linkspun then after 3 days organic search traffic dropped 16000% again.

I am really struggling to pin point the issue and what happened I tried by removing and disavowing the links that I added after those 2 initial links. I have looked in Google search console there is no notification of penalisation.

Would anyone know what? How? and would've? Caused my organic search traffic to go from 1 extreme to another within a 3 day period?

That is odd, indeed. Google is messed up with adult search results these days.

jizzwithme 03-12-2018 03:09 AM

Tell me about it mate haha. It does seem extremely odd I wondered if the rise was partly a fluke?

How new is the site? Google used to (not sure if they still do) put new sites on high positions to test them out (metrics wise)..

What numbers are we talking about? 16000% from what? I guess it's pretty low so you can have those fluctuations.

How stable is your SE traffic?

Link trading isn't for everyone, you need to know what you are doing and it takes some time to see some results.

12h. is a short period to re-index a site, add value to backlink and move forward.

or you get link from a bbc or cnn homepage:)

If your site is new then it is quite common and you should not worry about that.

if you are talking from 10 hits to 1600. then it can happen normally.
+ the fact that there were several (or 1 big update) in google between march 4-10 that made results fluctuate big time.

Yes it was like 10 hits to 1600. And my website is about 3 years old. So in regards to the links there was nothing wrong was just an odd Google update?
