Coca-Cola promotes drink with 'swastika' robots A Coca-Cola promotion in Hong Kong featuring a robot adorned with 'swastikas' has been condemned....http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_775737.html |

Buy me one, I pay you 10 bucks.. you know its gonna be a collectable very very soon
|

Christ,
That's not a swastika robot! That symbol is a buddist symbol and those facist scumbag Nazis made a similar one that pretty much destroyed the meaning of the original symbol. Any of you ever thought that maybe there are a lot of buddists in Hong Kong? You know.....since it's in Asia and stuff..... |
You said Christ and Buddhist in the same post. What are you trying to do start another board war? :BangBang:
The ridiculous part is that even though the swaztica was a symbol long before the Nazis adopted it, the world associates the symbol with hate now. It doesn't matter what it represented in the beginning. Obviously the marketing geniuses at Coke think that if you're a Buddhist that you never heard of WWII and the Nazi party. |

In fact when I was in Hong Kong just recently I saw it quite a bit. |

Besides all that, what's up with the pig snout and the Santa Claus beard? |
You would think Coke has some sort of review board that goes over everything just so shit like this doesn't happen. Big companies should hire people just to look over new products so that they can avoid mistakes like this. Think of all the money they could save by avoiding a lawsuit.

Also both my Great Grandfather and my Great Uncle had to suffer through a Nazi concerntration camp. Neither of them were Jewish. My Great Grandfather died there but my Great Uncle made it out alive. He passed on a few years ago. Quote:

I think your triple penetration bukkake fuck fest might cause anguish to even a small percentage of the population. Why don't we ban it? |
Mistake or not, the guy who made the robot character must have lived in a cave his entire life.
I submit, for your approval, a comparison: http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/p/l/pls144/comp.gif |

Have you noticed that many elementary schools can no longer have Christmas programs? They can't dress up for Halloween days. Pictures of the Easter bunny can not be drawn in art class. All because those holidays create an "anguish" for a small group of people. Bummer. |

SO we should show "equal respect" and do what the jews like? what about the Buddhist? Its ALWAYS - ALWAYS about the jews, I'm getting SICK of them. Kill 20 Black people, and its just murder - Kill ONE jew, and now you have to involve the FBI, because its a racial thing? |
All the Jews I know have no problems with the pervasive Christmas themes around Christmas time. Nobody was gassed or had their insides gutted alive in the name of science on Christmas.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by ebus_dk Fuck the Jews, we have been nice to them for more than 50 years now, its about fucking time them move along -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Israel is one of the US' best trading partners, and an incredible foothold in the middle-east. Jews in the US are, for the most part, successful and productive. Don't hate others because they succeed and you do not. Work hard and success will follow. Additionally, Israel is known for having best fighter pilots in the world (with US hardware), they train US Navy and AF pilots for combat. |

Holy shit. Now that is hilarious. They celebrate Valentine's Day but will not touch Christmas or Easter because they were originally created with a religious meaning? Ahaha!
How many people that celebrate Christmas go to church on December 25th every year? Ha! |

"equal respect" is about JUST THAT ; equal respect |
How long did it take for the Nazis to overrun Denmark anyway? A week? France at least had a resistance!

Hmm... Looks like a loophole your government needs to cover up. Be just as pissed at your government. What kind of economic system does Denmark have? What are your taxes like? Shit like that is why I fear 50% taxes to care for the people. Sure, immigrants. Yay! |
Quote:
Taxes it the worlds highest (average og more than 60%) "Denmark holds the record of the heaviest tax burden in the world. The Danish tax system is so complicated and impenetrable, that even tax experts must specialize in limited areas of the system. Many tax components are disguised and invisible. To this come a large number of fees and fines, which are also disguised taxing. The system is constructed so that it is normally not possible for a citizen to calculate the precise size of his tax burden. A few examples - Residents in Denmark pay from their income labour market contribution 8%, other special contributions 1% and income tax up to 59% "of the last krones". In all the income taxes thus amount up to 68% "of the last krones". Using the income left over after the income tax, people pay 25% value added tax on all goods and services. Besides the VAT, on all goods are payed "point taxes". The size of the point tax differs from article to article, and no normal citizen has any grasp of this tax type. So when a resident in Denmark has bought the everyday necessities, his tax has increased to some unknown level more than 76%. Another example. A man bying any car, say a used car worth 20,000 krones, must pay a registration fee of 180% besides the value added tax of 25%. In all 205% tax. The 20,000-krones car now costs him 61,000 krones. But to raise the 61,000 krones for the car, he must earn 190,625 krones and pay income tax 129,625 krones, left 61,000 krones. Thus to buy a 20,000-krones car a man must earn 190,625 krones and pay in all 90% in tax. " |

Gee, Nazi Germany against Denmark. That's like the United States against the former Iraqi regime. Victory was inevitable. |

And before any of you jump on me for using the term American to describe non jews, muslims, etc. I just couldn't think of another word. I didn't use the word christians since Christmas is celebrated by plenty of non christians. |

So the Third Reich is building up this huge army and signs a peace treaty with Russia while moving tanks and infantry into Luxemborg and Poland.. and Denmark, with their backs to the sea, not only don't put up a fight but crumble at the knees. Of all people, the Danes should have some bad feelings towards Nazi symbolism. Iraq didn't "overrun" Kuwait, they put on military pressure to force Kuwait to stop overproducing oil, which they were doing as a result of pressure from the US to increase the world supply and lower the price, hurting other oil producing countries such as Iraq and Saudi. I guess you haven't taken history in junior high yet. This DIIIIIIIIIIICK! |

Where did I call you a Nazi? Where did I say burn everything that I don't like? All I said is that your opinion is worthless because you haven't read your history, and therefore disagreement with me or anyone else is also worthless. |
