Trump will accept Kim Jong Un's invitation to meet, White House says

Will this ever end up happening? probably not , this is just a ploy to get Stormy out of the news.

President Trump will accept an invitation by North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to meet, the White House confirmed Thursday night, in a dramatic development after months of sabre-rattling between the two world leaders.

Kim extended the invitation and the president agreed that the two would meet by May, South Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong announced at the White House.

"Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze," Trump tweeted. "Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!"

First of all, it sounds kind of dangerous. But that's only if it's true, which I think it is not. Trump deals in all things "too good to be true". This is just another one of those things.

North Korea didn't call him asking to talk, they're not going to dismantle their nukes and this meeting will never happen. This is just a distraction for the Stormy Daniels fiasco.

Even if it was a real thing and Trump could be an adult and keep his mouth shut up until the meeting, it doesn't matter anyway because this whole thing is not true. I don't care if that South Korean guy went on TV to announce Kim Jong Un's willingness to talk -- by the time the meeting happens we'll find out "oops, something happened. Guess we're back to square one with North Korea. You guys forget about that Stormy Daniels thing yet? And all the meetings with Russia? And the Special Counsel criminal probe? And the mass exodus of high ranking officials in my cabinet? And all that other crazy shit that would have sunk any other president in one week?"

2 days ago Trump claimed he talked to North Korea but it was in reality people from South Korea. Trump will likely negotiate the surrender of SK..

Anything is better than a war with NK. For this, I would gladly say "Good job" to Trump.

Now please don't let him fuck this up.

How much more successful was Trump's hardline approach than the previous Presidents softer approach to NK?

The danger is previous agreements have been broken by NK, Trump must not be drawn into the same trap. Get NK so reliant on America for the economy and food, it can't afford to break them.

They just had the winter Olympics in South Korea, North Korea was successfully involved, so much it would of even been on the state run media. I'd guess all North Koreas questioned why the fuck they are living how they do, when things are much better in the south.

North Korea is really just the prawn in the middle between China, USA and Japan. Trumps major success has been in making China implement harsher sanctions.

North Korea has always wanted the USA to stop conducting war games, provoking war and flexing muscle in the waters around their country. I can't see them budging much from that in any negotiations. USA is asking for the total denuclearization of NK

Neither of those two things will happen, so it will be interesting to see what they do settle on if anything, compromises by both sides are needed.

I wonder who is driving this new Trumpy cheerleader ?

No point complaining about the state of GFY - from the management perspective this nonsense is the only thing that keeps the place going.

SAD !

NK was building nuclear warheads before Kim Jong-un came to power and long before Trump took office. They have maintained a state of war ever since the 1950s. They have also starved, oppressed and murdered their citizens.

However, with the success of the Olympic Games and NKs seeing the affluence they could have is Kim Jong-un's days numbered? It only takes the army to overthrow fat boy and his aged cronies. NK has to stop building WMD and threatening the South Seas and the USA. And Trump has to promise them food and jobs. To bring them into the 21century.

The only problem is getting Kim to stick to any treaty.

Bladewire 03-09-2018 12:21 PM

Trump supporters think that agreeing to meet two months from now means that they've met already and N. Korea is now denuclearized and our citizens that they currently have are now back on American soil alive :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
