Particularly when you learn after the movie what it's actually about..

One of only two movies ever to receive a 0 on rotten tomatoes lol. I think it actually made like 17 million gross worldwide and cost over 30 million to make. Oh also only movie to get the coveted F on moviescore.

Proof people are idiots.

Superhero movies are constant box office hits, so that's not new.

The movie was quite interesting during the first half, but then during the other half it got ridiculous, confusing and ultimately tiring.

Darren Aronofsky makes challenging movies and doesn't care if you like it. Whether you think it's good or bad will be proportional to your willingness understand it. Same goes with Terrence Mallick or Harmony Korine or Lars Von Trier.

I still don't understand half his movies but I still them. Black Swan made total sense to me but I can't say I enjoyed it.

While I was watching it I was totally like wtf but after it finished and I googled what it was about it made sense and was a really good analogy for God, Mother earth, Adam & Eve and the rise of the human population before they eventually destroy the world through war.

But he had another girlfriend before and even after her, with the same story .. so that doesn't match the analogy of Adam and Eve..

To me, it looked like a hopeless cry of a woman who wanted to be the most important person in that dude's life but in reality, he put everything else in first place, to satisfy his craving for fame.

What a trite argument ...
