Rhode Island Moves to Tax Porn
The state of Rhode Island has introduced a bill that will block all adult content unless a $20. fee is paid. They are presenting this as a human trafficking protection law but, it is pretty clear that it is just a tax. Interesting coming from an already high tax state where prostitution was legal until just a few years ago. I have to wonder if all states pass this, how it will work in regard to the price of purchasing porn. Here is an article about it.
