he's got a point.. the movie is kind of messed up and if anything just proves that the oscars are a stupid measure as to what is good or not. Just look at what has won 'best picture' over the last decade and tell me if A you have seen the movie that won B if you have watched it would you ever want to watch it again?

In most cases i think you would all agree that whatever wins is not often the best film.

thats EXACTLY what I thought....and I generally like del toro but while entertaining to some (not me) this movie was NOT Oscar worthy...3 billboards was way better storytelling and film making
