Never understood the need for the highest top speed as regular Joe will never ever get near it (unless they own an airfield strip!).
0-60 times and pick up (high torque) in lower gears are way more important if you like 'sporty' fast driving on regular roads.

If you like track work, then get a track car. Camaro is too big and heavy for that.

Thats why I have a truck, im not responsible enough to drive a car cause Ill jsut keep pushing its limits.

I think its just because it sells cars.

I've owned alot of Firebirds and Camaros. When choosing each car, I went for the look first (colors, interior, etc) and the motor 2nd. My first was a V6, but I loved the sound and speed of the V8 in my cars after that. Of course I couldn't take advantage of the speed, and of course it was wasted money both on the purchase and in wasted gas afterwards. But still, I always bought a V8 when I could. No clue why.

Today I'm only buying electric, but if I was to buy another Camaro, it would be a V6. I'd spend the extra money on the look only.

I wonder what the trap time is on that car. 217 is fast but it?s the gearing.

Imagine how white-knuckle that ride would be. There probably wouldn't be any daydreaming while behind the wheel.
