never fun - to part ways with a friend
 

we split from our CTO and a long time friend of mine today.

all the data for all the sites had already been backed up and thanks to thumbserver - everything is all ready - and online -

have put through the DNS reguests - will keep servers at our current facilicity for a month - just so all the propagation goes through smoothely.

so - just to reassure -this will mean the sites 'should' always -

but it was a nasty thing to do. he took it well. was a little surprised. which hurt more - i kinda thought he would expect it -even want it - but i guess he was pretty happy with things.

i'm keeping my fingers crossed that we stay cool - i've known him since fall of 97 - worked with him since 2000 -

oh well ... just felt like dumping out ....

it happens man. sometimes in buisness friends part ways. but i don't think that something such as that should be cause to end a friendship. it'll just take more effort to maintain.
