Wait until you see your wife spit out you first child. Most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Charcoal-grilled, Greek Taverna style. The best!

I've tried moving tentacles while in Korea. Never seen living creatures on a plate, just the tentacles (nerves or something). That frog makes me wanna cry.

And sometimes the octopus wins . . .

Many Koreans eat live octopus suffocated to death, but wonderful Korean still not afraid of death, still eat

Squid, many people like to eat seafood, Koreans are more wonderful, actually like eating live octopus. Live octopus is dangerous, a little careless will be caught by the claws of octopus, many people have died because of eating this way to death.

But the wonderful Korean people are very fond of this method of eating, but also not afraid of danger to eat not mistaken. Many people think that this method of eating is very cruel to the octopus, and it is likely that there will be parasites on the live squid, very unsanitary.

South Koreans feel that only live squid fresh and chewy, so that they can taste the most delicious taste of seafood, and their ancestors are so eat, so do not want to change.

What's more, they think that living things from the ocean are the cleanest, and there is no pollution. But eat live octopus must be fast, accurate, ruthless! The octopus bite immediately, avoiding its claws. They will also be served with pickles, which will taste more delicious.

Yeah, even I have limits.

Bladewire 02-09-2018 05:46 PM

I'm not going to post the youtube videos of them puting living cats and dogs, yelping and screaming, on hooks, burning their fur off with a torch then skinning them alive then cutting them up alive and putting their moving flesh into a Wok with oil to cook.

This is nothing against Asian culture or people. No society is perfect and all societies have their low points.

cooked octopus does taste good and i prefer not to make eye contact or talk to my food before i eat :)

Besides that, this was probably the most raw thing I've eaten while there.

I know it was raw, but was it warm? How did it taste? What did it smell like?

Honestly, with beer I thought i'd enjoy it. It was cold and wet, smelled of raw hamburger. Ive eaten a lot of weird things while there, but surprisingly was the least enjoyable (for myself).

That and McDonalds, but that's just because it tasted like regular McDonalds

That looks like their version Steak Tartare. Love that! But a lot of places don't do it anymore because of the raw egg.

Interesting thanks for the description :thumbsup. I've always liked my steak very very rare but I've never dared to go raw yet. I love sushi, calamari. Barbecue eel is my favorite 💖

Life on Earth is so diverse and such a beautiful thing. The baby in the pic is fine it was just born with its amniotic sack intact, a rarity. A close look at how truly alien humans are and how close we are to octopus with our amniotic sac.
