Old school Gay Mafia, with pontiac firebird that still has an 8-track and plays Peter Frampton Comes Alive.

hahahaha, I recently bought the new 2 Disc Elton greatest hits and I am in love. I am selling my car and I was thinking about the random CD collection in the disc changer.

2 Elton discs, Madonna Immaculate Collection, Urban Cowboy soundtrack, Cradle 2Tha Grave ST and John Mayer.

Something for everyone I guess ;)

They toured last spring and summer. Saw them in Seattle for the last concert of the tour. It's also on a DVD. They are gearing up for a new tour to go with their new 2 CD album release.
http://www.annandnancy.com/tour.html

New CD will have 4 covers that they do in concert.. Elton John?s
"Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters," The Sonics? "The Witch," and Led Zeppelin's "Battle of Evermore" and "Black Dog" and 4 new songs including "Heaven," "Sister Wild Rose" and "Break The Rock." (they did all those in the concert which I believe is out on DVD today)

Fletch XXX 04-29-2003 05:15 PM

i just threw on Pat Benatar - Heartbreaker. ;)

'Your love is like a tidal wave, spinning over my head
Drownin' me in your promises, better left unsaid.'

Elton may be a cocksmoker, but his tunes kick fuckin' ass.

which is much more than I can say for the majority of the so-called 'music' out there today.

LeeNoga 04-29-2003 05:32 PM

Yup, PK we are getting old:

Whats in my disc changer:

Disc 1: Bootleg music from file swapping site
Disc 2: Bootleg music from file swapping site
Disc 3: Bootleg music from file swapping site
Disc 4: Bootleg music from file swapping site

Come to think of it, I cannot remember when I last bought a CD.

i think i have distinct advantage on growing up over our parents and this generation now. we saw so much happen (ie, mtv, the first sexual ads on tv...etc).

i sit and think why am i listening to mtv or vh1 in my 30's (i try to convince myself it's childish) and then realize that i grew up on this stuff and it's ok.

our parents were totally confused and this generation is so jaded. i'm glad to have grown up in the 80's. i'm just a toys r us kid....:winkwink:

Cassie.... Heart is playing at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. Pat Benatar is also playing there this summer.

It is the coolest venue ever. It used to be the Paul Masson winery. Only 3,000 seats or so outside and you can eat dinner at their restaurant before the concert. I highly recommend it :)
