FPAs and HPAs..... Questions?

What size should Full Page ads and Half Page ads be, in your mind?

Should HPAs be a solid image, kinda like a Giant banner, or do you like them broken up?

Dunno about any standards or so, but I make mine :

Cut to pieces
hpa's ~ 500-600 x 200 - 250
fpa's ~ 600-700 x 450 - 550
